True, most of us know about these legal points, but can you expect the cops to act according to the rules? Can you argue with them in such a situation? When you are caught in such a situation, all you want to do is get out of it by any means, even if that means losing a lot of money.

Sad that a brother had to so much, in my case the way chotu was behaving seemed fishy to me.

I didn't paid single penny (Why would I). For the fellow brothers let me put some legal points which might help them.

1. An constable doesn't have any power to enter a premises inside alone.

2. Only with search warrant and two witnesses police officer (that too station in charge or above can enter.

The premises barring very few exceptional situations like drugs, arms and section 165, Crpc).

3. No women can be arrested after sunset to sunrise.

4 Police will give seizure list, panchnama and need to take sign of accused on them along with owner.

I was cool as fuck and then made some calls. After that beat constable ran like as hell.

But I advise brothers to avoid this guy, there are lots of fish in ocean.
