Spot on! This comment needs to be taken with a grain of salt, especially by short term tourists and in general by anyone who is not a resident or frequent visitor of Pattaya.

Anyone who believes otherwise will be in for a rude shock. The '5 k for LT is too much' statement gives a false impression that stunners can be had for 2. 5-3 k for LT. The caveat is only by regulars who can avoid bar fines.

For a tourist who is in Pats for a few days, time is of the essence and the quickest way to find hot girls is a jaunt to the gogos and guess what? LT at a gogo bar incl barfine for a looker is atleast 6 k if not more. If you play the waiting game then you will be left holding the short end of the stick.

I primarily referred to gogo bars since the original poster listed 5 areas, 4 of which are areas that are mainly gogo bars and listed gogo bars as the first on his list of types of establishments. I'm not sure where you can get LT with a top gogo girl for under 5 k unless (1) you are here for a long time and can coordinate meeting girls on their days off or (2) you live in Pattaya when getting a ton of free sex is a given, if you have any game.

My current favorite girls are 2 gogo dancers, one in LK Metro and one on Walking Street, 1 girl at a beer bar near Soi Lengkee, and 2 G club girls who work in separate G clubs never discussed on this board. Mix it up try it all. In Bangkok. Do soapies,. Go to Crazy Horse in Soi Cowboy spend a little on drinks with the better looking girls maybe barfine, Soi 11 in Bangkok has best deal and looking massage girls got to look in side alleys before ambassador hotel. Freelancers at Soi 4, Soi 7 Beer bar Try out the various gogos. Go to club areas on soi 11 and pick up drunk party girl (warning this is addictive be careful).

In Pattaya checkout massage street, Windmill Agogo on WS and others try freelance bars / clubs. Lots of girls out looking around 3 am+. Other Soi's check out agogo's on Soi 7/8 (note girls can't go back to bar so barfining at 11 pm usually gets you LT. Check out Soi 13/1 and 13/2 Vegas club had some stunners check out the rest (FYI some of those are scary but you can turn and run worth a look). Beach Rd Freelancers. For both do Tinder, Thaifriendly freelancers some are really good.

I have a Charles Schwab ATM-Debit Card and it is definitely the way to go. With their fee reimbursement you just can't beat it. But for those without the fee reimbursing cards I would find just look at a couple of exchanges near your hotel and select the best one. And keep using that exchange. The truth is that rates at most of these places are very similar. It doesn't make sense to waste a lot of time and energy checking out 10 different currency exchanges. Just avoid the airport exchanges and you can change money just about anywhere.

When I visit Thailand I take some traveler checks with me for emergencies. My bank issues them for free. Thailand is one of the few traveler check friendly countries now.

My first trip to LOS I brought a stack of crisp new $100 bills. That cash stayed in my safe and never got converted to baht.

Instead, I used my Fidelity ATM card. The exchange rate is the same as used by the New York Stock Exchange (posted at XE.com) and the ATM fee is reimbursed by Fidelity. This gives you about 0. 5 baht per dollar better than the best exchange place. I checked the details of transactions when I got home, it worked perfectly.

I think they were trying to take advantage of you. I frequent beer bars and usually it is 300 bar fine, 1000st, 2000 or 1,500 if you haggle a bit, LT. I had a spinner the other night and paid her 1,500 for 2 hours because she was a fantasy come true. She was ecstatic.

Like I said I am not a barfine guy anyway. The most I have ever paid anytime is 1500 LT, and I can count on one hand the times I have done that. Lately I have been giving chicks 1200. The other day I was telling my friends that I gave the chick 1100 and they said fuck that. 1000 only!

I will go in and get a chick's Line and have her come when she is not working. The chick that came over from LK Metro the other night; one of the first things she said when she walked in was you are smart; you do not pay barfine. (I went back to her gogo the other night. As we all know, even with TT not all have the same exchange rates. Try staying away from tourist areas like Walking Street, LK Metro, Central Festival, etc.

Wow! How does a place like that survive?

Indeed, it's an awful place. My theory (maybe I think too much) is that it survives by conformism. Most guys are over 65 yrs old, they want a strictly FL en-air place, with ample seating and a certain type of music. And all that by the women side too. They got it there and stick to it. Now for the nonsensical part (there is always one in Thailand), my precious blonde spinner semi-pro likes it! She started going there when 26 and very sexy looking (she still is). I could grill her for hours and she wouldn't tell why, but I believe it's because it places her miles ahead of all the other women there. I do not recommend the place, but as you said, gems can be fund anywhere.

Note: in fairness, on average, Red Car "population" is not that much younger or good looking.

I'd hit Patpong over Nana or Cowboy. The girls are friendly like they are in Pattaya and the ladyboys are kept to their own bars.

5000 is doable if you stick to Soi 6. For 3 ladies, 3 ladydrinks at around 140 baht, 3 barfines at 350 baht, plus 1000 to each of 3 ladies. Total 4770.

Also consider the gentleman's clubs in Pattaya.

Soapies. If you've done one, End if there. The next one and the next one after that will be forgettable no matter how hot the girl is.

Spot on BB. WS prices are high although I have taken some regulars from Sapphire and give them 4 K for the whole nigh until midday. Maybe because I am a regular customer with them. LK has cheaper options and again I take some regular girls all night from the gogos and it is about 3 k.

G clubs can be good also but the Soi 6 option is good value. Can pop three girls in a day and drink a little and get away with under 5 k. All of this depends on what your tastes and budget are.

I must say, the last time you showed me the ropes you took me to gogo with stunning girls but the prices were high. That said, the girls were something and when I am there next time I will pop in and see what is on offer. May well try one then.
