Nice link. I actually found many of my first places in Harbin from links like this, and a friend who spoke Chinese. You guys may want to try this.

I visited Harbin a few months back, and all of my old spots were closed.

Heishan Jie was completely dead.

It seems a crackdown indeed finally happened. How long, unsure, but my old "far spot" I posted a map to a long time ago is still active, but they not use apartments above the place.

So I'm no longer on authority on the Harbin scene. Most of the quickie places I used to go to were south of Tongda on Yuanhe and Yuanshi. I'm kind of surprised that those would be gone. I just remember ladies there at all times of day offering anmo, even during daylight. At night time, there would be pink lights like on the shrubs or trees near the door, and lots of bored women in short dresses, playing on their phone disinterestedly waiting for customers. There were also some massage places closer to the Qiao Nan Jie bars that I assumed were brothels, but I never went inside to check. (I remember one being near Underground Bar, and one being across the street from the Muslim barbecue place that sells hashish.) Thing Stick mentioned a few spa places in his posts, I would try those. I also mentioned a spa on Heguo Jie and another on JiangGuo BieLu. Those would be worth checking out. I complained about the price at the former (on Heguo) being too high, but after living in other cities, I would love to be paying those same 'too high prices. ' That place has a secret lair door. There's no way that place doesn't have working girls. I also remember there being sexy women offering anmo stickers being placed on lightposts, sidewalks, and the like. You should be able to text those and either they can tell where they are located or you can have someone sent to you.

I never saw any Russian working girls in Harbin. I did see some Harbin based Russian students working in Wuhan, Guangzhou, and other cities. When I did standard rate seemed to be 2300 or more.

I can't, but you don't need much Chinese for the places I listed, just learn your 100's #'s. Everything else can be point and grunt, translator, or all that. You'll be alright.

I'd say start on Heishan Jie pink shops to get your feet wet, perhaps go to the place with the map I posted. All these spots are still open.

I've since returned to Tongda Jie, and they've treated me well again. I can't stay away from the feet sucking thing and rimming they do for such a low cost of 400. Ha.

Report, and have fun! Perhaps by the time I get back in you may find a new spot.

I'd also recommend jumping into taxi's at some point if you want new spots. I've drunkenly been brought to new places.

Do not pay more than 400 for basic one-shot sauna levels! The levels should be 3/400 - 800+, but always start low and see how service is on the low end. If they quote you 800-1000 from the start, walk. Please. Don't ruin this great city by feeding their bullshit.
