Has anyone purchased subscription directly using your Indian bank credit / debit card on ISG site.

I know the statement would read something similar to an online purchase but a simple google search with that would reveal ISG purchase.

So please let me know, has anyone purchased subscription this way, and if so, did you run into any issues from bank or any one else.

First things first.

1) Banks do not come back to you on your purchase.

2) your statement is your personal thing. Why do you show it to others so they Google search it.

Subscription.

A) Even though the FAQ says that you need to buy with a credit card. Debit cards work too. I did it. As you get an exclusive statement to your address for credit card purchases go with debit. It will be with in many transactions.

B) You pay dollars for the subscription. So the bank actually converts your dollar purchase to rupees and then debits you based on prevailing rates. So apparently it treats this purchase to be an international one. Even though your debit card says it is international, it doesn't work. I think you have to call the bank and ask them to open that gateway for international purchases on your card.

If you can give us more detailed info. We can look into it.
