In December 2021, I had to go to Kribi. Cameroonian Beach resort. I stayed in Tara Plage. The place was not really nice and overpriced. I was drinking in the hotel restaurant till it closed. Then the manager of the restaurant was about to go home so I started to talk to him. I found out that he was heading to a disco. We took a moto taxi and Ride a bike to center of the town. I got drunk so I was dancing like crazy. Complete cringe. Around midnight manager of my restaurant get the girl I was dancing with and we took three Moto taxis back to hotel. She was really nice tall girl. Small boobs but very acceptable. We had fun night. I fucked her in the night and in the morning. After sex I realized it's almost nine and I had to go to my work. Then the drama started. She sat in the restaurant and wanted some money for service. I just let her sit there didn't gave her nothing (I had only 100 e bills) and run to my work. I was late so it created lots of problems to me. After my shift I came back. Manager of the restaurant told me that the girl came back twice to the hotel to search for me. He said that he paid for her moto taxi. I doubt that but paid him 5000 FCA which is app. 8 e. Fortunately the girl didn't go back and I left next day.

On the side note: I'm sure I got coronavirus there! I had fake negative certificate to get on the flight home but just after I arrived home I got sick. I registered on pcr test which came back. Positive. I was sick just two days, nothing serious. Raised temperature and headache. Than just running nose for couple of days. I'm double vaxxed.

I was staying in Akwa palace, where I met a lovely 30 year old Lady (very respectful, not a prostitute). She was sitting by the pool all alone, so I went to her politely and asked if I can join her, which she didn't mind at all. I must say the lady was exceptional. Since I speak French fluently, communication between us was more than perfect. (Cameroonians in general speak perfect French and are very educated).

I took her number and invited the next day to dinner at the same hotel. One thing lead to another, and we decided to go up to my room and have a couple of drinks.

After a bottle of wine, things got out of hands, and I'll let you imagine the rest) 3 crazy rounds between 8:30 pm and 2:00 am, with lots of cuddling, stroking, sucking and teasing between rounds. One of the craziest nights I've had in a long time. We slept around 2:30 am and woke up around noon. Final BJ under shower before she left.

PS. For me Gambia/Sierra Leone perfect combination for November to April. January Carnaval do Bissau. Kenya/Uganda/Rwanda May to October plus some travel to Ethiopia to see the ancient churches and Madagascar to hunt some two legged lemurs. These are my favourites. Further plans to visit DRC and Nigeria.

Because I hadn't been and some French guys claim it's Paradise. I went during the World Cup and so kept comparing it with 2014 when I had a great time in Rwanda / Burundi / Uganda. If I had just been travelling around for the sake of it maybe I would have given it more time. I do regret not visiting Kribi but was so unimpressed by Limbe and Douala and the rain that I just cut my losses. Also they speak decent French but pidgin English. Next year AFCON is there but. . . Madagascar have qualified and it's looking good for Uganda & Kenya, so I'll probably watch it from one of those.

I too was very disappointed with Cameroon nightlife. A night out is crazy costly. I stayed with someone there; I don't think I will ever go otherwise. Why did you chose Cameroon?

Which area were you? I bet Douala. I recommend to visit Yaounde if you want to see some fine ass. Guys need to know Douala is about quantity, Yaounde is quality.

Girls

Hot bodies abound in Cameroon. Pretty faces are harder to come by. As has been noted, Cameroonian girls will seldom talk $$$ in advance. I gave my girls 20000 CFA (ST) & 30000 CFA (LT) "for the taxi".

Drinks Prices

In clubs Les Saints-Pres & Opium, a small Castel beer costs a ridiculous 4000 CFA. Cabarets (live music) were no cheaper (5000 CFA in Opium; 4000 XAF in Le Palais). Only strip club Gogo Dance had more reasonable prices, charging 2500 CFA for the same Castel beer. One girl asked me to buy her a Red Bull & vodka, costing an astronomical 9000 XAF. Hell, no!!!

Cameroon has by far the highest drinks prices of any of the 31 black African countries I've visited. Why are drinks prices so extravagant? I have no idea. Have venue owners ever heard of profit maximization? I doubt it. I sipped my beers, never having more than 1 drink per visit (except Gogo Dance), no matter how long I stayed. They sure would have made more money off me by offering half priced drinks. Anyway, for a party monger, the heinously expensive drinks are a major deterrent!.

You guys just killing the business for others. Stop giving them that much money. A generous amount is around 10000 cfa, you can give an extra 5000 cfa if you want things like anal. And those prices are even to spend the night.

My luggage arrived 36 hours after me, there were power cuts, no water and the weather was either swelteringly hot (95% humidity) or pouring hard for hours at a time. Plus the women are too chunky for my taste. It occurred to me one night I could be having a reliably good time somewhere I know rather than searching for one and 48 hours later I was in Kampala.

I inquired about an Equatorial Guinea visa but was told I needed to apply at the Consulate back home. I told them there isn't one in Australia, she said go to the nearest one. I said that would be in China; she shrugged. End of interview.

Which area were you? I bet Douala. I recommend to visit Yaounde if you want to see some fine ass. Guys need to know Douala is about quantity, Yaounde is quality.

I had big hopes for Limbe; I think Bradt call it a 'charming colonial town' but it's a sprawling dump.

In Yaounde I visited Bunker bar as recommended in these pages. Beer was 1000 CFA and a waitress gave me her number along with the bill. Just around the corner is Biker's with FLs and beer at 2,500.

In Douala I stayed in Akwa at Beausejour Mirabel and spent most of my time in taxis to & from Bonapriso. Despite its reputation as a party town, St Peres was practically empty on a Sunday night and Orange Metallique doesn't open at all.

And it rained. A lot.

My first trip to Madagascar was brilliant, my second was a disaster. It's all experience..

That's the problem with Douala. When it rains, it rains a lot. When it's hot, it's like the devil oven. But the girls are the naughtier in the entire country though.
