Going through the posts here, I understand that getting caught at a raid might be a ...... To that, my first suggestion is to always be polite and respectful, but spew out a few words of the law. This lets the cops know that you are not a fool and they won't be able to rip you off. The police still have the power in law to keep you in custody without arresting your for up to 24 hours. So if they are not drawing up an arrest memo the moment they apprehend you, they are just trying to extract money from you. In which case you will be able to get out with minimum damage.

I am not sure reading out / quoting ref judgements at that time would be a very good strategy. If it were me, my first instincts would be to figire put a way of walkkng out of the raid without any issues. The police do not write up a chargesheet then and there. They take down the details, then complete their investigation which subsequently results in a chargesheet. They could potentially put me in custody pending their investigation which is again a really bad situation to be in. Eventually they may not charge me with anything but the damage would have been done.

I would try and wriggle out of the situation with tact and perhaps a generous dose of cash instead of trying to sound smart.

I've started my mongering scene in NE. I can safely vouch it's not as easy as it may seem there.

1. Assam: Good birds, easy catch and less prices. Downside is that they may not always feel welcoming to an outsider. I've heard many cases of non-NE people being blackmailed over an innocuous fling. The trick is to get a befriend a local when going for the hunt. I've met priceless gems and I've had my share of disappointments too. Places of probable easy mongering are, Silchar, Guwahati, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh.

Spa scenes in Assam is quite dubious (you may find more in Guwahati than in Dibrugarh / Silchar), and frankly I didn't try much, as the same girls are ready for FS in hotel rooms or SP's then there's no point paying counter charges.
