I've started my mongering scene in NE. I can safely vouch it's not as easy as it may seem there.

1. Assam: Good birds, easy catch and less prices. Downside is that they may not always feel welcoming to an outsider. I've heard many cases of non-NE people being blackmailed over an innocuous fling. The trick is to get a befriend a local when going for the hunt. I've met priceless gems and I've had my share of disappointments too. Since For FR I don't have any good thing to write I know some place where I went.
