I just visited Photoprepagos and there are some interesting ladies. Some of them looks real, overall it seems useful source of. Information. But I'm wondering about the prices. Some quotes 100,000 - 150,000 (I guess its pesos) but other says $150 and that is almost 500,000 pesos. So if there any regular users of the website, can you tell me is this 150 k pesos not $150, or there is no mistake and some girls have high opinion of themselves.

No guarantees, but I've used photoprepagos a few times with good results. I've never seen someone advertise in US dollars on that site, so I think the $150 price is 150 k pesos. But you should restate the price when you WhatsApp them. Don't even mention dollars -- just say "the price is 150 k pesos, correct? "Cuesta ciento cincuenta mil pesos, si?" (Sorry don't know how to use write accents on this keyboard).

FWIW, if a girl in Colombia quoted me US dollars, I would immediately ignore them / cross them off the list.

First of all. I like that. First of all, from a strictly functional standpoint, the difference between a Bugatti and a Ford is negligible, based upon the driving habits and abilities of most drivers on most roads. Of course it's an unfair comparison because the girls in Gusto ate not noticeably better than the girls you can find anywhere in Medellin.

I do believe in price change. Prices are constantly changing. Prices will always change and usually the price will go up. Prices in Medellin will go up. No doubt in my mind.

However, in a city if 4. 5 million, the price point is not controlled by 20 or 30 women. Just like the price Bugatti charges won't raise the price of a Mustang GT.

The price in Gusto has gone up, because it's a point and click environment. Plenty of guys want that simplicity. The club is walking distance to their hotel or apartment. Buy a few drinks, a girl comes over. 15 minutes later he's fucking the hottest girl he's ever been with. He doesn't care about $200.

But it's a closed environment. He's not working Facebook or going after any other segment of the market. What he spends in Gusto only matters in Gusto.

I have been to Gustos over 10 x I hang out with a few of the workers there. On a slow night 200 k might be possible but unless a girl is absolutely desperate on a thurs- sat night 200 k isn't possible unless it's closing hours and she is desperate. It costs her 20 k alone to get in.

Even the security guards I hang out with who introduce me to girls I can bang for 150 k from their side of the hood tell me 200 is the norm and some girls maybe 150 usd. This is the thurs. Sat crowd. All other days girls don't pay an entrance and it's not that busy so I'm sure anything is possible.

I agree, it is a shame that the chicas in Gusto are charging this much theses days. And Yes it is both of our fault, the inexperienced / lazy gringo and the chicas for this problem. I have only payed 400 K pesos once and that was once! She was well worth it and to this day we have stayed friends. I've pulled 3 times from Gusto and never paid 200 USD. I also had the one chica who bumped into me leaving Gusto (I was at The Beer Store on the other side of the park) and she was fine with 200 k.

Were there other people within earshot of you? I'm pretty sure there's a group of chicas at Gusto who only do 200 USD and pressure each other.

EDIT: There was a comment earlier about "educating" customers at Gusto. Or at least the dudes who are spending 200 USD. Friendly advise, don't do it. Don't show up to these places and tell customers what they should be paying. It's bound to [CodeWord140] someone off. Either a customer or one of the chicas and that could lead to problems.
