What the F? I just noticed that there is an error in the hotel name, but when I try to correct it (the actual name is shown on the attached file) for some reason when I type the hotel name and then do a preview, it is displayed as 'Lub d hotel'.

Why is this happening, does anyone know?

The hotel name is 'Lub d' followed by the 'fourth letter of the alphabet', why is the fourth letter of the alphabet being changed to 'the'?

And if I type in the first six letters of the alphabet, all in upper case, with a space between each letter, here below, this is what happens.

But on Friday night I met someone else at another bar on P Burgos, and ended up bar-fining her, for PHP3900. Many say the same thing about PH vs LOS. It's hard to find better than the attitude of most Pinays. They say "Its more fun in the Philippines" for a reason.

FWIW, 3900 + 3000 is standard for the better Burgos bars, especially if she rocked your world and stayed full term. Note that if you got her number, she would likely return on her time off or before work for substantially less than that.

The experience was in complete contrast to my trip to Pattaya in November. Thanks for the tip, that sounds like a steal. I've found decent prices (about $85) in hotels close to Narita that have airport shuttles but it does take some time to transit, and return though security and immigration, and the local dining options are few and far between.

I think $85 is high for Narita. Go to that information desk in the airport. They have plenty of hotel info with all the prices. Last time I got a nice hotel with free breakfast and a shuttle for $45.

I quite often have awkward layovers in NAIA. So long to become boring sweat traps but too short to effectively go into town and relax.

Just a shout out to the Wings Airport Lounge upstairs in T3. For 1000 p you get a pod with bed, blanket, towel and toiletries kit (no shaving kit) for 7 1/2 hours. Free showers, snacks and coffee are outside your door. Solid wifi and charging points are also included in the pod.

If you are with a friend(s), twin and family rooms are available

It's not a 5 star hotel but its clean and functional and avoids the smog, heat and traffic of going outside the airport and saves an hour or two if all you want to do is get some sleep and freshen up.

At 1000 pesos it is an absolute steal. I would pay that much just for the solid WiFi in the Philippines. Thanks mate.

When I left my hotel in Makati on Monday morning at about 10 am, it only took 20 minutes to get to the airport. But there was a massive queue of people lining up outside the Domestic Terminal building waiting to get into the Terminal building where there is a scanner located at the actual entrance.
