Went today, Saturday, holiday weekend, local one (city birthday) not a national one. 2 pm and pretty dead. This holiday weekend is affecting some of the action. So check those holidays guys before you book your trip.
Arrived and only 5 girls present. As I left 2 more showed up. More guys than girls, most of the fellas just hanging out. Bought beer across the street. The guy even delivered some himself.
Picked one for a 30 min session before they all got ravaged. Cost R100. The hostess is very friendly and speaks some English. Rooms all budget basic setup. Bed, shower and air. Clean enough, I'v done it in far worse places.
Stopped by Chanes 57 also but was closed.

Safra, what a joke these guys are. They have been given a monopoly at the airport and are charging 30-40% to sucker tourists. You read that right, 30-40%. So to get some local currency that leaves you with the option of putting your card into the GRU ATMs notorious for skimmer fraud. Awesome.

I remember I went to that TIM shop and the guy kept telling me I needed a CPF no matter how much I rolled my eyes at him. So I just went to their competitor next door and got a SIM there.

Posts: 4188I do have a CPF but I don't use when buying a TIM chip. I normally buy it in a place like Lojas Americanas and let them register / activate the card. It's also possible to activate buy yourself by phone, however it takes a lot of patience.

Posts: 2092In the past, I have bought one at the TIM shop on Avenida Paulista. It was a bit more money than just buying it from a kiosk, but obviously a must have now days. There was also more process with registering your passport, etc.

Many reports on this club in forum so just my 2 cents. Visited Friday night (holiday) 1 am with ISG buddy.
Entrance you get a card to keep track of your purchases. The more modern version of the paper slip you get at the budget bars I mentioned earlier. R40 is cover all go to consumables or R20 for cover only if I understood correctly. This is a loud dance club atmosphere, ABG called it a zoo and I agree. Maybe our ages are showing. Chicas everywhere all shapes, sizes. Ground floor area is for dance floor and stripper show. It is the loudest here, I hung out mostly downstairs, alittle quieter with more room to move around. Sofas to rest on and scan the room. Maybe 50 girls, hard to count with all that moving around. You basically grab a girl you like to chat, grope, whatever until you seal the deal. From my observations, most of the ladies will entertain you for a short time and move on if you do not commit to further services. Understandable as they are working, my buddy found something he liked and vanished to explore further. I had already sessioned so was more in that, "I just got to have that" mode. I never got a hit, out of all those ladies, a few were standouts to me, most were avg to below avg but none gave me that, "you just can't pass this up" feeling. So left at 4 am, went out the door to my right, across the street is a decent Shwarma place.

GF, ScoobieDiver and I went to EV right after you left, we arrived around 9 PM, your description of the place is absolutely accurate.

, not like Casarao, who, in my opinion, is a zoo, I hate loud music!
So if you think like me avoid Casarao and go to one of those two bars.

Posts: 3630SIM card in São Paulo
To buy a SIM card you must have a CPF, the local Social Security number. During the World Cup, there were some boots who sold SIM cards to tourists but now, to my knowledge, the only place where you can buy them is TIM of Rua Barão de Itapetininga. Ore have some Brazilian friend buy one for you.

Rua Vergueiro, 170.

Visited 5 pm on a holiday Friday.
Tried this budget place today. Two blocks from the metro station Sao Joaguin on line 1. It has a gated door with call box. Buzz it and they will let you in. Bigger sit down bar than Chanes 57 and the place is more like a lounge with a more crisper modern vibe. Same process as the other bar, ask for paper slip for them to mark your purchases. It will be at the window to your left as you enter. Today is a holiday, so slim pickings. Only 5 girls, two I liked and chose my first morena of the trip. Nice natural boobs and tall, slender, English was passable. The rooms are bigger than Chanes 57, with bed, shower and air, they are downstairs. The beers are only R10 but the chica drinks are R35, no cover. It rained hard today so stayed here until is lightened up. Had 2 beers a water one chica drink and half hour service all for the budget price of R155. The pricing is on a board (not current pricing) in that cashier window area but she told me these were the prices. Before 9 pm 30 min /100, HR /150 and after 9 pm 30 min /120, HR /170. My morena stated usually there will be up to 15 girls at night and the club is open 11 am to 2 am all days except Sunday, busiest time around 11 pm. I'm guessing the girls here are avg types, all were natural and little makeup. These are not the places you go for girls that spend tons of money on their looks. I find these places more to my liking but I will go to the more expensive clubs as well to be more well rounded in SP. I'm glad there is a variety of action here. Some days I just want the local corner hookup joint. I can go as I am and no need to go through all the effort to look my best for the fancy clubs.

Posts: 5Thoughts on Scandallo vs. Bomboa vs. Bahamas Hotel Club? Any major differences between these? I'm going to be in SP for just a couple nights (Friday / Saturday / Sunday) so wondering which is best to check out during the weekend and if there's anything special that differentiates them from each other. Heard Scandallo and Bomboa are less busy on the weekends, but can't be helped since I'm not there during the week. Also heard Bahamas Hotel does lingerie days on Sunday, any more info on that?
I've previously been to SP, but only for a short time and just checked out Casarao and did a freelancer. Cheers!

Since that thread is dead and some of you may do both cities, as I have, during your trip to S. America I want to share some tips I think will be helpful.
Local Forum is http://www.foroescortsar.com/.
The action is mostly incall but there are a few spots near Recoleta Cementary. Two bars, one called Dean & Dennys is an outside bar, girls hang at the tables waiting for you to invite for a drink. Prices were around 200 us back at your place or motel. The other is D'lino which is more of a bar / lounge / eatery, same pricing. Some will ask for more doubtful you will get less but depends on your Spanish and negotiating skills. These are normal places during the day and evening but around 11 pm the girls start filtering in. I usually went around midnight, plenty to choose from then.
Incall, most are independents but some are run more like brothels with different shift of girls. If the add says 24 hrs, brothel but if the girl states definite working hours, independent. I had luck with the folllowing websites. https://www.argentinasvip.com and http://www.soloindependientes.com.
The incall locations are spread across the city so you can search by neighborhood. I found several near my airbnb. Contact by whatsapp, most do this but not all, she will send you a template msg with pricing and hours. Once you agree on the date she will send you the address. Once at the address you reach out again via whatsapp and she will tell you the apt number. Some buildings you will push the callup bottom, others will have lobby person. With lobby security you tell them which apt your going and they will take info from your ID, so take some. The apts are working apts the girls don't live in them. Sometimes they share so ask to see her friends if any are there. Bathroom, towels, all standard stuff provided and the cost for hour service is generally around 2500 o 3000. I stayed away from any that asked for more.
Food I was not really impressed with, mostly american fast food, empanada places, pizza (only select varieties), lite-fare cafes, churipan (hot dogs with sausage rather than wieners), steak houses but do some homework on the cuts because they have there own varieties (ojo de befe) and how they described the cooking method (jugoso, punto, etc).
Its a interesting city, with its own style. I found it more European but with less diversity than you find in Europe. Mongering is there and the service is good. I'm not sure I would go back.
Final note, the Spanish they speak is definitely different. They pronounce the double L "ll" like a shhh sound. So calle will sound like the English word "cache". Llamar like Shhmar. Very wierd but when in Rome.

To SP newbs: just got into SP and while I've been here before, it's my first time doing it myself. So am using ABG's guide services!
Quick thing to note:. Airport money changers at most airports are big scams, but the one at SP airport is especially bad. So if you have to change money at airport, recommend only changing enough to get you to a better money changer. Also, despite what I was told by several people in airport, o was unable to find any store selling sim cards.

Posts: 648Good report. Chanes was written about by me and others. Initially some people were put off because originally there was a cover charge of 60 reais in consumption but seems to be passed. Also, there were times when the number of girls was low, like 5. I wrote that it is a good late night option, in particular if you go with a wingman because then there is someone to chat with.

This club is sort of a hybrid between a clinica (rooms) and prive (small bar and lounge). I guess one could call it a big prive or small club. Anyway, there are not many of this type. I think ABG has mentioned Espaco Vergeiro as another. The big limiter here is that guys who want to maximize their selection choices will probably prefer the big clubs like Scandalo and Casarao during a short visit. Guys who are here longer should check out Chanes. Its also always possible to go to Chanes early and then leave for Casarao for example at midnight.
