I have to say its a very bad idea to pay first for any girls in Colombia. Mongers of course are free to do whatever they want. But even mentioning that or tipping, word gets around to newbie mongers trying to emulate and before you know it the place is overpriced, and the service and attitudes go in the shtter.

New Life is one of the few casas in which you pay after. However, the service there is not as good as many other casas where you pay before. New Life is the only casa I have been to during this visit where I have encountered American mongers. New Life is the only casa in which I have been asked for a propina. Do the math.

How do you operate Centro! .

What I do is (I stay at the Botero 2 blocks from the redlight blocks) after breakfast I walk thru the Vera Cruz block and the Raudal block and see what's out, usually alone.

Dress like you are going to Home Depot to pick up some lumber, (no shorts / sandals) if you have light colored hair wear a ball cap, don't take more cash then you need, carry a photocopy of your passport and leave the real thing in your room or with the front desk, keep your phone in your pocket and don't stand around, only stop to talk to a girl, don't go after 5 pm when the locals are off work and starting to get drunk. I usually walk through 3 or 4 times a day, if you find one you want, ask her how much to play, the Vera Cruz ones should be in the 30 k range plus room (not sure how much for the room, I always hand them 50 k and tell them to keep the change as a tip) and the hotter Raudal chicks 60-80 k room incld. They will walk you a few feet to the stairs up to a short term hotel, I've been in 4 or 5, nice enough, showers, clean sheets, some have porno TV. I give them the money at the front desk so they can pay and bring my own condoms. Just because you saw nobody hot on the 1st trip doesn't mean they won't be there on the next walk thru, it is hit or miss.

Vera Cruz is the block behind the old white Iglesia de la Veracruz (construction started in 1682). You want Carr 53 between Calle 51 and 52 both side of the street. Some bars along there you can go in for a beer. Ignore most the ones up front by the church, the trannies hang out there. If they look young ask to see their Cedula (ID). If you see nada, walk 2 blocks over to the Raudal area, basically the 2 northern corners of Calle 53 / Carr 54. Less women but usually some hotter ones. I find that block a little sketchier, esp as it gets later.

Remember, she has to only be $10-$20 hot.

After dark I switch to the Centro big 3 strip clubs (Conejitas, Barra Ejectiva & Maracaibo) with occasional taxis to Fase II. That is all I hit in Medellin, not a Casa fan or Escort fan due to no time to check attitude and possibly old or touched up pictures), will hit some FB friends who are super hot on my next trip most likely also.

After all, the girl knows where you are staying and she could just send a message or call and tell someone. They would not have to arrive with her or be the one to come pick her up in order for you to be setup or whatever. For that not to happen, you would have to go get her yourself and take her phone and put a blindfold on her until you get inside.

To be clear, Uber is a personal vehicle so I would not know. The Uber driver of course is a stranger to me- that is what I meant. I would prefer not to flag my location to someone driving their personal vehicle.

Some girls claim to have friends that drive them but not likely in a taxi because that would require the driver of a yellow taxi to be on duty and available when she needed the ride to or from. That's not likely.

The taxi driver can just as well call another friend to stake out your location or go get an unmarked car and do it himself.

There is a lot of paranoia going on in these Colombia threads. I am not saying not to play it safe but geez. You got one guy in the Bogota thread worrying about being kidnapped and another afraid to walk outside and get into a taxi on arrival at the airport. What is it about Colombia that sparks these thoughts and fears? In over 100 trips to Colombia in 15 years I have never had any of the worries that guys come on this board having; not even my first few times there.

It's about limiting exposure over time. I use apps that call yellow taxis and it works just fine, even if more expensive. I know girls buddy up and talk with Uber drivers. I prefer yellow taxis.

Recently I returned from the shower to find a date had already called a friend or Uber to pick her up so too late for me to call a taxi. She went outside to wait and maybe 10 minutes later as I was leaving my apartment she was still there. She explained the driver was on his way and giving her a ride to Bello for free. I asked why and she shrugged but apparently he offered and wanted to drive her from Laureles to Bello. It was odd. Maybe she sent a foto and because she was pretty he thought there could be something in it for him, I don't know. But it was unusual if not sketchy. Perhaps it was a friend who had been waiting close by. I don't know. I checked my door locks and bolted. A yellow taxi would never do that, but a friend or a creepy Uber driver would.

They are stuck in the 90's, when Medellin was the most dangerous city in the world at 225 homicides per 100,000 people, now around 20 which is safer then the Bahamas or Jamaica or St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans and Detroit.

Call an Uber, which is actually safer for her and saves you some money. She'll be happy with that.

Honestly if you haven't experienced centro you are missing out. 2 of the girls that still consume my thoughts are centro 30 k street girls. There is indeed gems to be found. I have tried casas, strip clubs, photo prepagos, CC, escorts and still go back down there..

How do you operate Centro! I have done every single method also! Except Centro! I have a skewed vision of it after watching YouTube videos. Maybe it's me but it seems like the most uncomfortable way of mongering. I imagine walking down some 3rd world looking street. Passing by shady guys and looking like a sore thumb. Then walking up to a group of thirsty unattractive women. Looking at them then walking as they make cat calls at me as I continue down ghetto streets on foot looking for a diamond in the ruff. LOL.

My thought process to avoid this scenario was find some sort of transportation (in a car seems safer). Maybe asking the cab driver to circle around until I found my diamond. Putting down the window. She walks over. Negotiates. Hope's in then off we go to either my alt or a love motel of my choosing.

Mind you, I monger alone so what is the real way of doing this safely and with a bit of dignity LOL. The whole walking the streets just doesn't seem realistic for a foreigner. What's your methods? In detail please.

First time visitor to any mongering destination but have experienced Asian massage parlors, escorts, and college girl sugar babies in the US. Looking for a better bang for my buck combined with an awesome vacation, and stumbled upon choosing Medellin over Sosua or Thailand (mostly due to weather March-October being bad and distance). She says $100/ 300 m pesos for 1. 5 hrs per girl or $250 for 6 hours of partying and sex. These girls are smoking hot 10's in the photos she gave me too. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Would I be better off just going to New Life / Aiffe / Fantasia Energy / La Isla / Loutron instead? I can't seem to find the right girls on FB and Tinder seems hit or miss after a few days swiping in Medellin so far. Photoprepagos.com seems a tad sketchy and everyone wants to be paid in advance via credit card and I'm not doing that.

I am 13 for 13 for women off of photoprepagos. I have not found any of them to be sketchy. Now as far as the actual experience, that's based on the girls personal talents! But "if they respond in a timely manner " I've had good luck there. Best thing is the prices are usually posted so you know what your getting price wise. Never. Ever. Everrrrrrrrrr pay with a CC in advance. That is a disaster waiting to happen. As many women as I've contacted on there, I have never been asked for this. Now maybe once she arrives she will ask for payment before sex. How you handle that is your personal preference but sending money before you have even seen who is on the other end of the WhatsApp is almost ridiculous. She knows that. Try to deal in cash. Now the main reason for my trip was the Cento girls. The first night there was a few doable but mostly bad ones. I found that all the ones I went with was the same story. On the street whatever I asked for was ok with them. Some prices were in the 25 to 30 K range. Now the reality is once you pay for the short time hotel then all bets are off. They demand the money upfront. The first time this happened I went with it as the girl was kind of cute. After that two more times I was hit with the same BS, and I walked eating the room rent. As for the strip clubs I have always liked them. Problem for me was the volume was insane. You had to yell, and then they could not hear you. I left without drinking my beer.

It looks like to me the only good thing in MDE is New Life. I don't go for all this social media stuff.

My stay is planned, and paid for 24 nights. I like the hunt. Casas are not my thing. Tomorrow I start to look for a getaway from this place. Maybe when I hit FL I head right to the DR. It has it's drawbacks, but the hunt is on there.

For those of you who swear by FB, I would say I'm willing to put in the effort but I haven't seem to found the right girls. Any tips or leads?

You didn't specify what you're having problems with. If you need to build a list, look for my report around Nov '17 about how to do that. You can search anyone's postings by clicking on their username and click View Forum Posts.

Once you have a list of girls, it's pretty simple. 1. Look for those who are active at the time you want the appointment. 2. Message them.

- Hi <name to see if they're active.

- when they respond, use your translator and say "how are you doing, are you available to meet me?

- when they say yes, you need to propose the price first, otherwise they can overcharge you right off the bat. You will pay gringo price anyway but at least you won't be fooled into 200 k or 250 k+ as easily. "I'll offer 150 k for one hour. I stay in area , what do you think". 90% of the time they'll say yes to that. Some girls will do 100 k but I make it easier for myself and start with 150. I've had girls who go "no, 200 k (or more)". If I say "I can only pay 150 k. Maybe you can think about it and let me know", and that often works with her coming back an hour or a day later.

- if you absolutely must have her, maybe 200 k but I strongly suggest giving her some time to think first. Even 100 k is a lot of money to these girls.

- then wait. This is the worst part. She can often be late but very rarely she doesn't come at all. If she doesn't give you updates on where she is or how far away she is, tell her you can't wait any longer and assume she's not coming and make other plans.

- when she arrives she often wants you to pay for her taxi. If she gives a good session, tip her 20 k and pay for her return trip. Call an Uber, which is actually safer for her and saves you some money. She'll be happy with that.

Are you expecting a 30 k VeraCruz street girl to be as hot as a 200 k FB girl? Will 6 VeraCruz girls be more fun then 1 FB girl?. Depends on the girls I suppose.

Man you are hard to please. You won't do street walkers, the strip clubs are too noisy, you don't go for the social media stuff and casas are not your thing. There is a ray of hope for you, however. You say you like New Life. Have you tried other casas? I have been doing casas exclusively since I arrived here two weeks ago and I have experienced many that have chicas just as good as New Life.
