It's certainly conservative. I would only recommend the blocks separate from the main reception block. There used to be a pedicure clinic on the ground floor of the block that I've used. How did you manage the first place? It is very conservative. There are 2 kinds of rooms. One in the main building and the other in the corridors that branch off before the main building. The former ones will involve you running the gauntlet of the reception where someone could easily spot you bringing in a girl. IIRC the lifts need a room key to work. So you can't even have the girl come up by herself without the key. The latter ones don't have this risk but from what I have heard, even with these rooms, if you brought in a girl who hadn't checked in with you, people come knocking on your doors within minutes.

It happens in some of the leading European countries also and its part of the normal protocol to be followed.

Now the question is do we have to worry, I don't think with the Supreme court order of Right to privacy which mentions that two consenting adults have the right to spend their time in privacy, the LE has any business in knowing what is going inside the room..

There is nothing bad about OYO statement or to worry that CCTV footage and so on. All they would know is certain xyz is staying in some room. They don't have the right to know what is going inside the room. So in my view we don't need to worry too much about the oyo data sharing policy. Even if one want to be safe, he can book two rooms, one in name of himself and other with the name of the girl, so that raises zero suspicion to anyone.

Time and again it is being made to feel that LE in our country has nothing else to do rather than hunting for adult individuals who have their right to privacy.
