Till you get tested, please avoid unprotected sex with your partner/partners.

Convince the girl immediately or may be the next day to before her next interaction, for a medical checkup. In case the results are negative, you are free. Both mentally and physically.

In case, if the girl gives consent, she should give sample for HIV-I&II PCR Viral load test, P24 Antigen and Antibodies test for both the strains. These tests might not be completely accurate as it depends on her last deed time-window and it requires minimum a week or two for accurate results of PCR viral load tests. Viral load tests are bit expensive, but if her results are negative, it should give a sigh of relief and fair confidence to him. If her test results are negative, he can simply get tested for HIV-I&II Antibodies after a month and after 90 days to be really sure. However, with condom break, we mostly fear for HIV infection due to the social stigma, however, there is a risk of exposure to other STIs like Hepatitis as well.

If the results are positive you also have to get tested and follow all the procedure under medical practitioners advise. (This one is the best solution rather than living in trauma for another 6 months till you get cleared).

God forbid, let's hope it doesn't happen. If it happens, start PEP under medical supervision with in 72 hours of exposure and get tested after 30 days and 90 days.

And most of the Afros who are students, keep their hygiene well and even do a regular medical tests. May be some Nigerians who are into drugs and other crimes are exception.
May be some others have some good advises. Based on their experience.
