Buying Bitcoins for subscription is a very tiresome task especially for Indians. I also went through the same hassle of creating account in Coinbase and verifying the account only to realize that Indians are not allowed to buy Bitcoin through Coinbase. Went on to create accounts in multiple similar websites. However, the same issue persists in most of these websites. In some where we can transact, the credit card companies usually block the payments. Eventually figured after almost spending 8 to 10 hours, the best way to get bitcoins is through localbitcoins.com.

Create an account there, and buy bitcoins through local agents in India. The payments usually happen through direct payments through gpay or imps or upi. So please check the history of the agent before buying from them. Once you transfer the amount and you have enough bitcoins, click on the wallet button and then transactions and then follow the steps as provided in the subscription section of this forum.

Fed up trying don't know what's going wrong.

1. Got membership at coinbase.com and finally after wasting many hours learnt that they have stopped supporting credit cards.

2. Next moved to coinmama.com registered there and completed document verification after that I was able to transact but it was asking for a bitcoin wallet hence used the coinbase wallet, but during buying the coins it says something went wrong and payment failed.

3. Tried 5 times to pay but failed (my credit card support international payments).

Is there any easy way out? Direct pay by credit card.

Even I am new here and I totally understand this Coinbase drama, specially for Indians. Coinbase doesn't even have a support team for India and even with that 2-factor authentication and all, you reach nowhere, LOL.

So a fellow monger in Delhi Forum suggested Paxful. And boss, its great, no drama, no ids, nothing. I think I had wasted at least 4-5 days on Coinbase. It took me 1 HR to understand the concept of Paxful, and then finally after the transaction, I pinged the admin and they were really fast to activate my subscription. One drawback is that while transferring the bitcoins it took like 600 rs extra for the transaction, but maybe even Coinbase might be also charging.

Anyway Paxful is what you are looking for. And since I am new here too, maybe you can ping me some good contacts, if you have any.

Sorry, but you could never have transferred Bitcoin Cash to us because we do not have any way to accept that. We have a very clear sign on how to buy Subscription.

A newbie here. Got an account with Coinbase successfully. But rookie error, I have bought and transferred Bitcoin Cash instead of BTC. Contacted the admin via Contact Us option explaining the mistake. All I received was a simple response stating that they don't accept Bitcoin Cash. I have transferred BTC now, hopefully they upgrade my membership. To be honest, I am not even looking for return of Bitcoin Cash. Just want them to acknowledge that they have received it so that I will be happy it didn't go wasted.
