3. its not mandatory to get VIP ticket to get access to Exit room, you need to have good relation with the bouncers. As I am visiting Sydney for the last 3 years so the owner, manager and all the bouncers knows me and many of them are in my friend list in facebook. When the raid happened last year on June, then one of the bouncer helped us in getting out from the exit room with my girl. You need to tip them and talk nicely to them many are part time fitness trainer in gym to you can start the conversation by asking health tips with them.

1. Yes, you can land late but they close by 1 am max most of them.
