I've done Thailand how does Colombia compare. I much prefer Latin girls not into Asians much at all BUT I really enjoy Thailand for travel and beaches and party. From my personal experiences in Tokyo, train is the best option for several reasons: 1) They're always on time; 2) Google maps is pretty good about telling you which train routes to use from each station if you use the Directions feature, and it will even tell you how much it costs (typically only a few dollars); 3) They're incredibly inexpensive. A train ride from Shinjuku to Kawasaki is 400 JPY and takes 38 minutes. A taxi for the same trip would likely cost about 10,000 JPY and take at least the same time, if not longer with traffic. That's not to say you can't use taxi service, but they will always be more expensive (2,000 JPY between Shinjuku and Shibuya vs 160 JPY for train), and contrary to what a lot of people say, English is not always going to get you where you want. If you're going to take a taxi, make sure you have the address or a picture of the map to show the driver in case the driver doesn't speak English.

Believe it or not, I've never seen anyone use a rideshare (Uber or Lyft) in Tokyo. They just can't compete with the taxi service.

First time going to Tokyo 21-25th November and Japanese skills are NULL.
