Frankly, this 'break' seems like once in a lifetime opportunity for pulling down the prices. Not everyone needs to participate even. If only a critical mass of 30-35 percent of us bring down their prices by 10-20 percent for three weeks in a row and everyone else just hold on to the earlier prices, it should have the desired effect!

Alas! The more difficult part I think is for the larger chunk of our population to stick to the earlier prices because inevitably the demand is going to skyrocket immediately after lockdown ends while patience will be running thin. They will give in to seller's extortionist tactics and demands. If this happens, there is very real risk of prices drastically increasing (forever!) after the covid storm blows over.

I have always wondered why unlike the share, real estate, oil, luxury goods, and every other efficient market, price correction is unheard of in this one (maybe someone else has)? Especially since it is so unstructured that it can't be monopolized or coordinated into a perpetual seller's market.

Unless one believes that it is already a buyer's market, which, given the dry state of affairs in other cities' forums, seems probable?

If you use safety, take along hand sanitizer and mouth wash for both parties I think you should be good for GB road. Put in some effort first researching the reports here for reference (there are some good ones) and some preparatory leg work. I have some non-Indian friends who don't mind getting dirty and have lived their Bollywood fantasies of the traditional brown Indian girl in GB road. Also, if you have confidence, are even average size, and don't carry anything more than you need, you can (white) power through sticky situations here or elsewhere in Delhi, perhaps even better than many of its residents. Transaction charges were 0.00002538 bitcoins in my case on localbitcoins.com, so a newbie willing to subscribe should buy bitcoins worth Rs 100/- more at least to account for rate fluctuations and transaction charges. I correct myself when in another reply I mentioned Rs 200/- worth bitcoins should be bought extra.

I thing I must point out here is that immediately after buying the bitcoins, the same should be transferred to the wallet of ISG without delay and also the txid emailed. The ISG guys also take something like 4-6 hours to process the same at their end. So, this Rs 100/- worth bitcoins extra shall act as some sort of cushion to these factors. I am not sure in this dynamic scenario, what rate is being considered by ISG as to is there any cut off time or those rates are considered when transfer to ISG wallet was actually made or for that matter they ignore shortage of some cents here and there while actually processing.
