Did anyone who bought Bitcoins for subscription for this forum from localbitcoins get a message asking for details of the transaction.

I have been getting mails from localbitcoins support people asking about the bitcoin if to which we sent the coins.

I find it weird. Is it something to be worried about. They have been sending me mails everyday.

It is mostly localbitcoins trying to flag suspicions transactions. Bitcoin is a public ledger I. E. All transactions you do is visible to everyone. There must have been few members who directly transferred.

BTC from localbitcoins directly to ISG. LBC (localbitcoins) are just trying to gauge whether their service was used to partake in illegal activity. If someone here has already said to LBC that the BTC was for ISG, than it could be a problem.

At the least they could disable your account or worse report you to the police. If it were me, I would ignore their mails, replying to them now would only implicate me more. Its up to you to on how you proceed, but be careful if LBC wants to set an example it will be a sticky situation to get out of.

Here are some tips for others looking to buy subscription in the future.

Step 1: don't transfer directly from LBC to ISG address.

Step2 a: create a BTC wallet and transfer your BTC to this wallet. (if its too much you can skip it).

Step2 b: transfer your btc (either from your wallet or LBC) to a non-kyc exchange. I use https://tradeogre.com.

Step3: convert your BTC to monero on the exchange. Some would suggest to use mixers or convert directly to XMR, but IMHO sending your BTC from LBC to mixers or XMR converters will immediately put a red flag on you. Remember BTC is a public ledger, using mixers directly means that you have something to hide, and people will eventually trace it back to you. The above exchange I use is a one man team, chances are that few years down the road. The exchange will close down and your account will be buried to.

Step 4: once you have converted your BTC to XMR. Than withdraw it to XMR wallet or you can directly transfer it to https://xmr.to/ use only this site. The site is maintained by official XMR team who don't maintain logs. Do not use other XMR converters. They either take your money or compromise your privacy.

Step 5: your converted btc will require a BTC address, create a new btc wallet and transfer it there. Do not use the previous BTC wallet address which you have. Now send your BTC from your freshly created address to ISG and continue mongering in peace.

These steps might look overkill, but it will spare you the headaches in the future. If LBC asks where you send your BTC you can say that it was sent to an exchange. Remember these steps do not completely guarantee your anonymity, but it will make it infinitely harder for authorities to crack. They will have bigger fish to fry than ISGians. Also remember to calculate the overhead for conversion and fee costs.
