If next time you are posed this question, ask the girl if she ever goes out to eat in restaurant. If she says, yes, which of course she will, then ask if she doesn't have the kitchen in home. Tell her even though one eats home food daily and it is healthier and more hygienic, once or twice in a month one would definitely like to go for outside food to change the flavour and to try out new things.

No need to think about it. Just listen and forget. They are getting bored so inquiring about your personal life. Whether you have or not it doesn't affect them. And I don't blame them for asking. Well it's like they want to know whether you are a naive person or an experienced punter. They ask for GF because from that they can get an idea how to handle the man.
