Posts: 471The post that ends all debates and ignites hope!
This is the post we all have been waiting for since March; I'm honored to be the one who delivers it. As of 9/19/2020 10:10 pm Medellin local time, I've successfully crossed the holy border of Colombia. No special visa needed, just a negative COVID test (PCR) and undeterred perseverance.
Despite the infinite vastness of the cosmo and the immense loneliness of earth in the universe, this reunification with my long-separated lover managed to bring inexplicable and irresistible joy and happiness to me. I will not forget this moment for as long as I live.
P.S. They took your temperature and controlled the number of person can be in the immigration line, I recommend after you land try to walk fast so you can be in the first wave.

Posts: 82RT PCR isn't a "brand. " That's the scientific name for the test. It's not a question of whether to get a bud light or a coors. It's simply get a beer and you'll be okay. You're confusing the different types of tests, antigen, antibody and PCR. PCR is beer, antigen is vodka and antibody is whiskey. Don't get vodka or whiskey.

Posts: 3374You are missing my point
There are many passengers being turned away at the airport daily because of the reports are not accepted.

I only saw one report so I am not saying all RT-PCR tests produce the same report

Posts: 82RT PCR is the right test
RT stands for reverse transcription. The full name is real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test. The real time RT PCR test is the CORRECT test. It tests for the live virus and is the most accurate. Real time is scientific lingo for how the test is performed. The lab observes the polymerase chain reaction as it happens instead of checking for a sign at the end.

Posts: 746Covid test required 48 hrs prior to LEAVE Colombia
Who is in charge in Colombia, it's the God damn gang who couldn't shoot straight, now they are requiring a covid test within 48 hours of LEAVING Colombia.
From the RCN web site:
This is the test that they will ask at airports to <leave Colombia<<.
In dialogue with RCN News, the Deputy Minister of Transportation, Olga Ramírez, gave details about the reopening of international flights in Colombia.
14 Sep 2020 8:09 By: Noticias. canalrcn.com.
In an interview with RCN News, the Vice Minister of Transportation, Olga Ramírez, spoke about the reactivation of international flights in Colombia and that they would take place, initially, in Cartagena.
When will the final protocol be approved and what does it contain?
We are waiting for health to issue the resolution, but basically they are measures like the ones we already knew, but adding new components such as the test that we have already said will be requested, which is the PCR, with about 48 hours in advance.

Can you tell us a little bit more about your Covid test results?
What kind of Covid test was it?
Where did you get the test?
What was the turn around time?
What was the time printed on the covid test?
Does 96 hours just mean 4 days? Do they check the exact minute of the test against the time of the flight?
Did you have a connecting flight? If so, did they ask for your test on the initial domestic leg?
A picture of the test results would be great, with personal information blurred out would be great. I've never seen one.
Sorry for all the questions.

Posts: 333I have been reading this board over the past couple of months since it's been pretty much been centered around your relentless pursuit to get back into MDE. Can yo do us, and yourself a favor, and stop promoting drug use on this board. Do you understand how easily it would be for authorities to figure out who you are as a result of the limited number of flights into MDE? The whole premise of what we do is to NOT draw attention to ourselves.
Some things are best left unsaid.
Good luck,
Judd.
