We thanked the owner who told us to stay away from such Russian frauds, and go through regular contact only. The pandemic had made them desperate and many of them are into drugs and other such activities and have contact with goons. He told us to wait till next day, he would arrange a verified escort for us.

Needless to say, the whole episode left us shaken. We of course reimbursed the resort owner for the money he paid to get her off our back and thanked him profusely for saving us.

True to word, he arranged an escort locally next day and it was a much needed balm to soothe the mind after the horrible experience we had the day before.

I did some check on this lady Natalie on the forum after returning and found some posts on the Pune forum. Not very flattering, many complaints also and One was a particularly scary episode some due had posted. Seems she has pulled such stunts before. As Joshua pointed out, just checked her Ad. It seems Natalie was packing up for Mumbai. Just consider myself fortunate this episode happened in Goa and at a friend's resort. Hotels ask the ids of Guests when they check in, does the same apply to visitors during the day? I spoke to a number of 5 star hotels and they said they require an ID, please share your experience.

You can call anyone in daytime at any 5 star hotel, best is you see her in the lobby spend some time and proceed to room there is high chance no one will ask you any thing, also even if the visitor is smart then she could directly make it in the room. Still at times one could be stopped and asked for an ID.
