Well this is the new norm in somewhat decent spas in tier one cities. Heck for that matter, I travelled to interior tier three / four cities in TN which may have only two spas in entire city and even there the counter charges are upwards of 2 k if the birds are young and good looking. The price reduction should have come 5. Years ago and now these spas know that there are plenty of takers even with this pricing structure. Only thing worked for me is that, I don't bring up the topic of extras until end of massage, get a good massage then ask about extras or try getting her number for a meet outside.
