I traveled to Medellin last October and everyone accepted a printed copy of the test results. I had the test done at two places. Both places sent an email with their letterhead and the results. I don't know what you have, but if it's only a text email, I doubt it will be accepted.

I just purchased a one way ticket on Jetblue from LAX to MDE for the third week of February and noticed roundtrip flights on Jetblue for as low as $ 350 roundtrip for departures in the last week of February leaving midweek and returning midweek two weeks later. I actually used points to purchase the one way ticket, and it was approximately 8,000 points but when I went to "check out", it said it was only 4,000 points. In checking the one way price in dollars, it was like $ 150 USD so I don't know if there is a glitch in the Jetblue system, but I got charged only 4,000 points so I guess I got a one way fare of around $ 75 USD however I did pay for upgraded seats which did cost more than that. Given that I used points I cancel at anytime with no penalties, and the flight leaves at 11:55 PM with a 1:40 layover in FLL, so a perfect connection time. There were a lot of other flight options available, with Spirit actually being a little cheaper but Jetblue is much better all around. Now is a good time to buy flights being refundable with no penalties.
