Had been friends with these two girls Angie and Lisa for some time.

Later it came to Delhi Police's notice, that both these girls are living in India without requisite permits and had overstayed their threshold limit by more than two years.

BTW, Such offence is punishable as per Indian law with imprisonment up to five years.

Had tried to help them legally by providing feasible legal solutions aided by my advocate friend but never got the requisite reply as I needed all their documents which they never provided despite umpteen requests.

Even offered to help them in their meetings with legal counsel but they probably trusted their Bfs more who weren't that helpful as they are now in prison again.

See we can only help those who need our help and not those who aren't that bothered and too chilled about breaking the law.

Don't want to be too argumentative about their episode but still will say that Both these girls took the Law for granted and even when they came back they didn't consult the right people.

As per my knowledge, They never sought help from Kenyan High Commission in Delhi in asking their help on Humanitarian grounds since their present case didn't even allow their deportation back to Kenya until or unless they spent requisite time in prison or got acquitted by court.

I have some suggestions on helping them.

First get in touch with the only contact that is [Deleted by Admin] and try to understand the current situation about their case. Have his contact details.

Try if possible and meet Angie and Lisa in prison to get to know their case status and tell them we are there for her and will need them to comply with us and provide all the documents.

Need a good legal counsel to help in their case.

Definitely in fighting this case, we will require financial aid to fight the case which has already been discussed in the forum.

I am game for helping them in any possible way.

Anticipating your thoughts on this front and would welcome Suggestions from everyone concerned about Freedom of Angie and Lisa.

Let's all take a pledge to help them to attain freedom as they don't deserve it in any way to spend further time behind the bars.

The two sisters were arrested by the police for quarreling with alcohol and have been in jail for a long time, later on getting a government lawyer, they got bail.

She was not going to the court's previous appearances on which the court had issued a non-bailable warrant and now she has been arrested again and sent to jail.

Friends This is the whole story.

After talking to the lawyer and other police staff, I have found a way that both sisters can be freed. Otherwise, both of them will be punished a maximum 5 years of jail.

Lisa If know someone is probably the most in India and loves it, then it is ISG. I want us to help all a little bit and free it.
