Posts: 3374Nice report! Do you know the tinto vendor with multiple shopping carts full of thermo bottles under the metro station? The tinto is only 300 a cup from them, I remember it was 200 before. I was guessing they also supply to some of the tinto girls too because I saw them exchange thermos.

Posts: 16Time to start speaking with the Tinto girls
Wow, I would not have thought that the tinto girls would be receptive. Some of the people from the barrio I understand very well, with others I can barely understand what they are saying. Especially with the tapaboca and noise from the street. I need to pursue this. I love this type of girl. Especially if they have lower mileage.

Last time I was leaving Tijuana, I jump on the trolley to get to the aeropuerto, the ticket cops wanted to see my ticket on the train, so I dig in my pocket and pulled out a gordo wad of pesos.

They said OMG its too dangerous, we are from Mexico and we don't even go there jajajaaaaa.
Well I have been going to Tijuana since the 80's Mr E, and the only problems I've ever had were with the dirty policia and ruthless putas, (we won't even discuss STDs or food poisoning jajajaja).
That said Tijuana is a great place.
Great food great pussy great people!

Nope. One of the guys is almost guaranteed to pull some dick move on her, which leads her to blow up your WhatsApp complaining. Or she's going to flake on some guy, or under perform, or just not be what he's looking for and now he's complaining.
I'll tell you how to find girls, I'll even give a few that I don't know to get you started, but unless we're close, I'm not handing out my favorites to just anyone.

Posts: 1643Take everything you know about Yellow Cab and throw it out the window
Yellow Cab here is nothing like anywhere else you've been, good and bad. A third of the drivers are illiterate, 1/3 of the drivers will not be able to find your location without a bunch of false stops with the meter running. With that said the cabs are still a good deal about one-third the price of the USA. Be very wary of chicas or anybody who tries to steer you towards a pre-arranged private driver. You will probably end up paying more and at worse you could be getting set up for some nefarias criminal activity. Ostee Out.

Looks like it's very popular and proven, thanks. Enjoy yourself in the bar there. I like the local hangouts too. So much more of an experience.

Thanks, that's a new one for me and I'll definitely check it out but would also like to use yellow cab guys since most know more about the city or at least should. Thanks again.

Posts: 1643DiDi is the app to use for rides
I started out with taxis, went to Uber, then discovered.

I took the Airport bus at 11 pm last night to El Centro ubehind Nutibarra, as usual I found taxis waiting for me there.
Today, Sexy Dexy and I are in the heart of the beast in El Centro, no problems. I bought four of these glasses for $15, one is a Ray Ban knock off, one is an Oakley knockoff, excellent quality.
With all that being said I would not come now with the new curfew restrictions starting in place tomorrow, does not affect the way I roll much but for anyone new or not familiar with the layout now is not the time to come.
Forgiving any obvious errors I'm voice texting from inside a bar in El Centro.

Posts: 18166All around the world locals say you better not go downtown; it is too dangerous. I was in San Diego on my way to Tijuana and some Mexican ladies got freaked out when I told them I was going there. They said it is much too dangerous. I have been going there for 31 years and have never had a problem. Meanwhile Tijuana is one of the biggest threads on ISG. But of course it was these ladies' honest opinion as well.

Posts: 2379Centro's a great place to be for a few days. The streets are vibrant, places to poke around in, sites to see if only once. Limited restaurants, and quality hotels, and most stores filled with Chinese plastic junk, but the casas are accessible. If Berrios is too gritty for you, just stay a few blocks up in Boston plaza area, it's closer to the casas there anyway. I keep in mind, having not (yet) been victimized in Centro the words of one of our sages, 'Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. '
