Posts: 339Trying to figure out what makes a "killer arepa"? Except the ones stuffed with eggs and chorizo I've never been too impressed.

Posts: 1887I've never been clear on what are the boundaries of Raudal. I've walked down on DeGrief many times a few blocks further than Conejitas. Down by where Bar Hilton is. Is that DeGrief?

Posts: 261Agreed, that's what I like about here. I've been to bars and strip clubs with others with drinks flowing and the bar tab is usually pennies especially compared to somewhere like Thailand. I feel like I'm always respectful and generous with certain girls so it's disappointing when they try to pull a stroke.

Posts: 12A little further up on the opposite side of the street is a tiny Venezuelan Arepa place. Killer arepas.

Posts: 18164The dudes are not going to bite you. You just walk up to the chick and ask her how much. Plenty of reports on Raudal. That is probably where I go the most. Funny thing though, I did not even know it was called Raudal until someone posted one of those videos last week. I always referred to it as Degreiff. I never know the names of these places. I just know how to get to where the chicks are.

I'm considering staying at the mansion but would it be better to stay near El Centro in order to be within walking distance? Otherwise, what are the nicest areas for hotels in the area if I'm just taking ubers?
What's been your experience?

Posts: 3802Unfortunately it's sad to hear that more and more girls are trying to scam mongers now with the USD versus Peso bullshit.

It's a sign of the times, more and more mongers are coming to Colombia and the girls are becoming more aware of how to scam guys, especially newbies here.

For those on the ground currently in Medellin who post reports, many will vicariously live until they can return including myself.

Nice report, sounds like your getting your "sea legs" around El Centro, and studying Spanish will greatly enhance the experience there.

Keep the reports coming!

Posts: 4634I did not try it. Women working there are cute not stunning but they were dressed professionally. Well, there is one that could have been really attractive if not in professional clothing. Thing is within a 5 minute walk you have at least one massage parlor and all of Parque Lleras.

The paradox with women and seeking.com I have learned is that women want to be paid for sex but not feel like hookers. With Medellin, the cultural shame of taking money for sex IMO is low so honestly if the women working Haven did not take money for sex I would be surprised.

My favorite in the area is Salud Pan. It's a bakery and restaurant. Around 15 k. They have regular, vegetarian and vegan options on the menu of the day. It's about 2 blocks south of San Peter. There's also a Mondongos nearby.

Posts: 5607This is why I tell people, unless you know the girl, if she doesn't say "mil" after the price, always clarify it. In WhatsApp I always repeat it back to them. For example, if she says 150, I'll reply "150 mil pesos. Sí?

Looking at 1:30 of this video there are like 20 dudes just standing around, how do you make the approach with all those dudes hanging about?
Not that many reports on Raudal street either, some fine ass in that video.

Posts: 2937She wasn't expecting you to whip out a Ben Franklin: she wanted you to do the conversion in pesos ($100 USD = 363,650 k COP).
