When you step out the door of San Peter, across the street and to the right is Full Arabe, a Lebanese restaurant. Food is excellent, but a bit pricey. Some of the dishes are over 20 k. Just past it is a little Colombian restaurant, decent cheap lunch, about 11 k.

My favorite in the area is Salud Pan. It's a bakery and restaurant. Around 15 k. They have regular, vegetarian and vegan options on the menu of the day. It's about 2 blocks south of San Peter. There's also a Mondongos nearby.

I like the Mediterranean restaurant right across from San Peters. The food is made from scratch and delicious. The ice cream place is good a block from San Peters. At night have street vendors now maybe not during curfew.

Trying to figure out what makes a "killer arepa"? Except the ones stuffed with eggs and chorizo I've never been too impressed.

For me, Arepas can be like hockey pucks, dry and tasteless.

It's interesting though as to how many selections there are of them. In Exito they have like a 30 foot long open refrigerator of them with all kinds of varietes, and the only one I like is the yellow corn ones, they kind of resemble Mexican yellow corn tortillas, yet are much thicker. For breakfast I like toasting them and putting either butter or cooked eggs and cheese on them. But typically the Arepas that are served with most Colombian meals resemble hockey pucks, dry, and tasteless. I can't speak for Venezuelan Arepas though, and do know they differ than the Colombian varieties.

When I was here for a few weeks for my first visit I wanted to bring anything and everything back to my apartment. Now that I'm settled into a nice apartment for a few months at least I feel like I do not want trouble or lunatics here so I'm going to be very selective with who I bring back.

Yes, it cannot be emphasized enough to clearly vet a Chica before bringing her back to your apartment. I don't allow anyone in my place that I haven't been with at least a couple of times with before in a Love Motel. The vetting process can be tricky, as lots of these Chicas are players, and at times there can be some telltale signs, and other times trouble / lunatics totally out of the blue.

By going with them a few times somehere besides your apartment, versus the first time at your apartment, you will find out whether the Chica fits your sexual needs / desires. That for me is the first thing I look for, if it's bad sexually the first time, I don't want to find that out at my place.

The second thing I look for is how well we can communicate, for some it may be totally verbal, or non verbal, or both, meaning some type of "connection", however you want to describe it, I guess Chemistry. If your with a Chica in a Love Motel and she is glued to her cell phone, imagine what that might be like in your apartment.

I also like to find out how they respond relative to compensation, meaning did they provide and do everything you wanted for what you agreed to, or did they beg or demand more.

Again, there can be pitfalls when bringing someone back to your place, even if you think you vetted them.

But if you find a winner, it sure beats a Love Motel compared to a nice apartment.

Funny thing though, I did not even know it was called Raudal until someone posted one of those videos last week. I always referred to it as Degreiff. I never know the names of these places. I just know how to get to where the chicks are.

I've never been clear on what are the boundaries of Raudal. I've walked down on DeGrief many times a few blocks further than Conejitas. Down by where Bar Hilton is. Is that DeGrief?

Yes The Tall Man has seen her in the club and I think even bought her a beer or two but never smashed it. What a shame some of the BS, like thinking it was for dollars, that these putas come up with and yes she wanted to scam you, my gawd and I too hate the cell phone shit that these putas pull. If I am paying you the only time your lips should be moving is when it is sucking on my door knob hehehehe.

But all in all the pricing is fair in these bars, last week I spent an hour and a half and was buying drinks for a girl I was sitting with and her sister and even the bar tender and I had a few beers, well when it came time to settle the bar tab it was, no shit, like 28 mil.

I am really really careful any more deciding to bring a girl back to my apartment. I use to take more risks in years back but now I just don't have any patience for dealing with their possible scam and BS so now I may have a new untested chica over once about every other month and only before I do my due diligence.

Agreed, that's what I like about here. I've been to bars and strip clubs with others with drinks flowing and the bar tab is usually pennies especially compared to somewhere like Thailand. I feel like I'm always respectful and generous with certain girls so it's disappointing when they try to pull a stroke.

I'm considering staying at the mansion but would it be better to stay near El Centro in order to be within walking distance? Otherwise, what are the nicest areas for hotels in the area if I'm just taking ubers?

This is why I tell people, unless you know the girl, if she doesn't say "mil" after the price, always clarify it. In WhatsApp I always repeat it back to them. For example, if she says 150, I'll reply "150 mil pesos. S?
