Pretty sure you are correct these YouTube videos show some of the same robberies and they seem to have been spliced together instead of separated like the ones that were posted in FB and the posting date Apr 30th is from 5 days before the FB post.

Thanks for pointing that out, I did actually click on the video links myself after I made the post to see what would happened and for me each link just leads to the same Facebook post that all three videos are posted in and you can see all three videos in a cluster of one large one, and two off to the right side,. I used the copy link on each individual video hoping that it would open each video, When I saw that for me they lead back to that post I went back and edited the description to say where each video is in the post, I wonder if you are not a member of that FB group if the link responds differently.

Since that last video where it looks like they either killed the guy or choked him out wasn't taken from the Hotel Premier Plaza, the angle shows the raised part of the plaza that extends from the church entrance is on the left so it was taken from one of the buildings across the street to the south of church plaza.

I did find all the videos spliced into one video on YouTube. I would be really curious to know if this guy was just unconscious or dead, the guy grips his neck at about 00:23 then the victim seems to be using his legs (and so conscious) up the point the aggressor drops him to the ground at 00:31 but does not release until 00:38 and the guy limply falls the rest of the way to the ground. FYI, for those of you who indulge in the higher price spreads from time to time, Club La Isla is open during weekday Toque de Quedas from 2 to 8 PM. What follows here--my somewhat comical bummer of an experience yesterday at the Club on the hill.

Actually first time I went to Medellin (2019), I didn't find any either. I didn't know about Skokka or any other good sites. All I could find online was extremely overpriced ads. Actually, the Premier Plaza is an "unofficial" police substation that the police frequent to use the WIFI and drink coffee. What appears to have been happening the last week as evidenced by the videos is that there is little police presence, hence the thugs have taken over. I remember many years ago this same thing happened in Tijuana when the police stopped patrolling the streets for a while, and everybody was fair game, and after the assault's, the thugs would slowly walk away because there was nobody to chase after them. It's unfortunate what is occurring right now with the locals getting jacked up but by the locals, but that has always occurred, but more so now. Typically we read about the gringo's getting ripped off, but now, a lot of the locals are afraid to be out during the unrest. Hopefully this coming Wednesday the planned National protest will be tamer and not further inflame the situation.

I'm planning on returning in three weeks, but if this protest stuff is still going on, along with the total weekend lockdowns, I might reconsider.
