Thailand was pushing 40 million tourists a year in 2019. So 8,000 applications is not a promising start. But it is a start.

Posts: 6734Per AN, there have been 8000 COE applications worldwide for the Phuket sandbox. Some are rejected. Is it me or does 8000 sound extremely low and irrelevant to put even a minute dent in the Thai economy.

Posts: 411So what does approval mean?
It means some entity has the Green Light to go make a Boatload of money.
Will it help the situation? Maybe. First things first. Make Boatload of money. LOL.
Thai Visa will give you a sense of what's happening on the Ground. Not good.
One. Thais don't want Sinovac.
Two. The stuff they want just not available.
Appointment s are being cancelled left and right.

My choices for Miss Universe are 1) Nepal, 2) China, 3) Uruguay with Miss India being an honorable mention. I hate dealing with the soi dogs but I'm guessing you just keep moving and try not to show fear. You are the boss, not them.

A couple of blocks away, there was eccentric after hours nightclub called "Numbers".

The first two digits of our address where I grew up was 66. The 3 digits after the area code on our phone was 999 (666 not allowed in USA). Thailand's country code, where I am at today, is +66. I get this email the other day with 66 and 666 specials from TOPS. And who could ever forget the 666 shadow from my taxi ride awhile back. Guess this devil won't ever let me go, but thank God I am who I am, right? So many times, when I wander late at night near Kophai, those packs of territorial Soi dogs charge, growl, and bark. Monkeypaw just looks straight ahead, keeps calm, and struts at the same pace. Too bad I don't know how to whistle or I would. And trust me, those dogs get close enough to sniff, but have yet to bite. I think ice water runs through my veins. Guided, protected, aura? Cesar Milan would be proud.
And remember Monkeypaw's post #1180 entitled "Chaos before 69" in this same thread? Well 69th (was delayed a year) just happened a few weeks ago. So are we nearing this time for big change? Anyways, Andrea Meza (Mexico) took the crown, Julia Gama (Brazil) was first runner up, and Janick Maceta (Peru) was 2nd runner up. But Monkeypaw's top 3 is different. Winner Alina Sanko (Russia). First runner up Thuzar Wint Lwin (Myanmar). Second runner up Maria Thattil (Australia). Honorable mentions goes to Cristiana Silva (Portugal) and Adline Castelino (India). Reminder to Google image search to see all angles of the 69th Miss Universe ladies, than what the article shows. Does Monkeypaw still have that third eye?

Not sure what people think mafia is or is not. Hopefully, it's not from the movies. Real mafia knows how to blend in. When Pattaya is full of crowds and weekend millionaires, they become weekend millionaires. When Pattaya is not, then they become Cheap Charlies. This is how they are successful, playing chameleon, playing spy, and traveling. Own nothing, but still live a lifestyle of freedom that others envy. Just be smart about it. Hotels and Uber Black versus a mansion and Ferrari. Blend in, but there is always going to be something special that will separate them from the others. Too bad Pablo Escobar didn't have this wisdom. It's all about "freedom" and having your cake and being able to eat when you want to, of if you don't even want to.

It's not the same kid story that you've heard before. And the Jack Rabbit's prize for winning? At this point, it is relaxing on Pattaya Beach, sipping a White Russian, with a hint of vanilla. Who is your favorite Playboy? And by night, get a visit from a different kind of white Russian that I met years back for a couple thousand baht. But I guess they are all starving now. She may have worked on Walking Street at Angels or Galaxy, or maybe both. Perhaps Angels from another galaxy?
You are absolutely correct. Sorry I missed that. Radisson's revenue was actually closer to 7. 3 billion. I forget that all our minds don't function the same. Some think on a micro level, others on a macro. It's like a chicken, pretending to be a duck, trying to give flight lessons to an eagle on how to soar. Anyways, what the daddy company makes, so gets the son. It's like the trinity thing right? Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? Rad / is / son Blu. So who is the most rad and the coolest son? The Blue is a given.

A girl working as a juice vendor gave me a pomegranate drink by the Exchange Tower, an older farang bought me a watermelon shake at a cafe in the atrium of the Ambassador Hotel, a girl working at a tennis shoes shop in Terminal 21 offered me a free pair of sneakers, and a young Thai guy gave me 20 baht at the bus stop. During that same time, when the devil was also in my head, the Thai police drugged me trying to get payoff (didn't work), a couple of bums tried to rob me at a bus stop while I was trying to sleep, and I got chased by lots of locals who didn't want me in their businesses.

Be wary of ego, and embrace empathy. And when I mean ego, it may be difficult for some to understand. So they should just focus on greater good and lesser evil. Because the idea of God as almighty, that itself, can be confused when it comes to ego. The mind is the battlefield where spiritual warfare happens. And our wisdom, and being able to act on that wisdom to gain certain rewards in life, dictate which side has the advantage with our soul. I'm just lucky, I am guided in this. Mind, spirit, soul is all in one. This is the "Blue" print I used to understand spirituality. It goes beyond Buddhism, Islam, and Christianity. But the common denominator in most religions or beliefs are spiritual beings called Angels. So, I guess I am not the next great Buddha. Monkeypaw strongly advises this read.

Was there last week on weekdays. I don't do strip clubs but I can tell you the city is hopping with visitors. Some casinos haven't opened all of their gambling tables but there are plenty of people gambling. Most of the showrooms are open now. Overall Mon-Thursday almost looked like a weekend crowd. I did visit an AMP but didn't find anything special there. A lot of people have cash to spend now thanks to unemployment bonuses.

Wynn is opening up Buffet soon. Pretty sure most are not running yet but I assure you they will be. People love it.
P4P. To me since experiencing Bangkok I lost all interest in Vegas.
3 foot rule enforced? Doubt it.
They are adding shows as I speak.
Last there January 2021.
But I follow it close. I have assets in Vegas.
Will be there soon. Just need to get my teeth cleaning done. On waiting list to get it even sooner.
My last month in Pattaya December 2019. Last in Bangkok January 2020.

Posts: 6734I was thinking of going in 2 weeks. Were you just there? How have the strip clubs been since May 1? How closely are they monitoring the 3 foot rule? By saying booming are you referring to P4P, strip clubs, visitors to Cirque du Soleil, buffets have reopened, poker tables full? Please clarify.

Don't say anything about the $7 Billion Radisson Blu charging 600 baht for breakfast. The cancerous charred meat they grill up and serve. The abuse and torture of animals for the food on the buffet. The hefty price of $150 a night for a room to sleep in. The poor migrant labor to build their hotels. The lawsuits by their employees for unpaid wages. But, yet you whine and complain about how a kind hearted, homeless guy like Monkeypaw is committing theft by not paying for his healthy egg white and mushroom omelet, whole grain croissant, and fruit bowl with OJ? Now, I totally understand why some people look confused and don't quite understand the plot when they watch Robin Hood, Zorro, or V for Vendetta. The really don't understand the concept of greater good and lesser evil. Welcome to the other side! My Father always told me that it all begun with two sides, when it came down to the only Great War that ever matter.

Know what I mean jelly bean? And you probably, don't think much of me. But no, I am not at all a peasant. Instead, Monkeypaw is just a pleasant mother pheasant plucker. What I mean is that I'm a mother pheasant plucker. I pluck mother pheasants. I'm the most pleasant peasant, mother pheasant plucker, that's ever plucked mother pheasants. But actually, I'm not a pheasant plucker, I'm a pheasant plucker's son. I'm only plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes. If you are still confused, see for yourself. I am a Prince.

They whine when Monkeypaw spent 30,000 baht in single night at Sapphire Club ringing the bell. Then they whine even more, when the same homeless and jobless, Monkeypaw, collects SNAP Food Benefits, and gets boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese cargo shipped to him every month from across the world. So who is like a hungry Quasimodo? Get back with the Paw, when you understand who or what I am.
What cam? I don't see no cam. The girls don't see no cam. So what cam are you talking about? But if you ever wanted to set up one, follow the same instructions given to the Hokey Pokey. Works like a charm every time. But what I have noticed on ISG, is that the pics with my dicks get more views than the others. Seriously, Chris Hansen.

Some get paid for it. Some don't. But remember, if you know you are crazy, then that makes you "not" crazy. Good advice from someone who has been on the inside and was still able to pass a lie detector test, while lying his ass off and both MMPI 1 & 2 tests. The Board wouldn't license me unless I was able to pass them. System failures means Monkeypaw redemption. Who is like George Washington with a hatchet?

The Thai family that takes care of this unit and the other in the same complex aren't the owners. The legal owner is some Australian guy stuck back in his home country, unable to leave. He used this Thai guy and his wife as "agents" for AirBnB to rent out his two rooms for vacationers. I used to book these rooms via their website in the past. So a handful of months ago, when the Thai agent saw me, we made a side deal, unknown to the owner, for about 11,000 baht a month (all inclusive). Just cash, a promise to keep it between us, and for me to take care of the place. So I am really proud of myself and of my image portrayed to others. This guy is trustworthy, dependable, and is on the side of "good. " Help a local family in need during times like these. I even taught him how to rip off about 3000 baht worth of groceries for a a couple of hundred every month. Food should be free anyways. How good am I? Also, I didn't noticed you or anybody else talk about the complex collecting their fees, but still shut down all the amenities like the pool, gym, sauna. There isn't any ordinance. But you want to gripe about Monkeypaw getting free air con from the hallway by opening a door? Sneaky devil, right? Makes people confuse about right and wrong all the time. Once again. Remember, greater good and lesser of two evils.

This is how hell works, but everyone is so quick to blame and judge. So who is like Ali Baba? Because you are a fan of some of my insightful posts, I will share with you a bit of knowledge. Karen and Karen situations are often used to point out the gleam and shine coming from the armors of White Knights. Unwritten rule in life, not just in prison or in the mafia, is that if the situation doesn't involve you, or can come back to bite you in the ass, or serves a greater good or greater purpose, then as a third party to the situation, you leave it alone. Watch and learn.

Seeing a grown man taking a nap in an empty kids play area (yeah, you saw the pic, and it was empty), inside an empty RGP mall, is a situation that really has to do nothing with any of the above exceptions. Calling the security guard makes no sense to any of my given exceptions I allowed you. You might want to put up the tights and cape, and don back the Clark Kent outfit. Save that shit for a real emergency situation, requiring a real super hero. Rule of thumb, is if you have caution and not the guts to do it yourself, don't be like the Lion of Oz, and get others caught up in your own personal agenda. Next thing you know, you will be snitching on grown ups who use the slides or swings at parks. May run into Hasbullah Magomedov one day, get confused, and who knows? And if this is not about other adults, but just Monkeypaw. Then feel free to admit it was just about me all this time. Something about this care free lifestyle, bucking against the system, going against the grain, that irks the hell out of some people, right? I behave like I do, and yet the rewards are still so righteous. Just think. So if we are in the Matrix, who is like Neo, and who is not?
P.S. Nothing personal to alll, just trying to teach some "street smarts and game" to those who want to grow their spirit. There is no definitive link between book smarts and wisdom. Wisdom is what you are striving for. It should be what we are all striving for, period.
