I wanted to share a bad experience I recently had in Safed MG service apartment in Ul Soor, which is serviced both under Tree Bo and O Yo.

Neethu from SA (now active in DEL) joined me for dinner and chilling. I saw the sleazy receptionist eyeing her during check-in.

After she checked out, in a couple of hours, he started messaging and harassing her on Whatsapp. He even took snaps of my ID and her ID and sent it to her as a blackmail option and claimed that he had a cop friend and that he would report us.

Note that he did not message me. He only kept spamming her and she forwarded some of the message screenshots to me. I told her not to worry and that he had no case against us. We were consensual adults who legally checked in and provided ID too. In fact, it is the receptionist who broke the law by leaking our respective IDs and harassing / blackmailing us..

Some things that are unusual here is how he got girl #1's number. Usually on checking in only 1 number is taken and that is of the person who did the booking. Did she fill up the form on checking in? Did girl #2 walk up to the room or did she have to register?

Looks like girl #1 knows the reception guy. I have had a similar incident happen to me once. I chose a random hotel and asked the girl to give her ID in reception and come up. After she came up, she said the reception guy looked familiar. After the deed was done and she left, she started messaging in the evening saying that he is messaging her and asking what she was doing in the hotel etc. She also started that he may get both of us in trouble and appeared to be very worried. I told her that I'm well connected and anyone trying to mess with me will be in a lot of trouble. Her 'panic' immediately faded. If this is some sort of scam, I'm not sure how it's supposed to end.

Good that you posted it here. Should anyone else see this coming, they can deal with it similarly.

Some hotel staffs and services are crap.

Always stick to star hotel's.

Meeting two ladies or more in hotel is normal!

As far as you stick to well known star hotel.

But for all the people out there, I think its unacceptable for anyone to take photos of your ID, other than record it for the accommodation administrator in their register, if this happens you should immediately report it to the management.

She is a bold lady and was able to "manage" him, but she dropped subtle hints that she was protecting me and my reputation as well, else she would have filed an FIR against him. This created a doubt in my mind if she too was somehow in league with him because she now had access to my ID and knew my marital status (stupid of me to reveal it way before meeting! Also, she had not blocked him on Whatsapp despite my advice. Anyway, I did not reveal my fears or my doubts and played along, and told her to ignore him.

I thought of checking out the next day, but the room and location was really nice, and I had work in the locality. Over the next 2 days, I did not confront the receptionist and neither did he try to blackmail me. The third day, I scheduled another meet on short notice with BabyDoll69 (Okayish experience, VFM at 4 k). She seemed desperate to meet and I was short on time. So called her to the hotel where I was put up. She checked out in an hour, and I ordered dinner and called it a night.

The next morning, Neethu (the first bird) messages me again with screenshots of BabyDoll69's ID proof and messages from the receptionist where he is frikking reporting my activities and guests to her! This actually scared me! But I still played along and told her to ignore him and block him. Later that day, she messaged saying she "managed" him and that he was now apologizing to her, asking her not to report this incident to his Manager.

I still don't know who all are in league here, but my key learnings:

1. Never reveal marital status.

2. Book premium hotels that value and respect privacy.
