Thanks for the prompt response, Mickey Duck. There is a change of plans, it seems that the girl stays close to Vashi, so she is OK with meeting me there, but will not come to a hotel in or near Vashi. Since I am staying with relatives near Thane, I was thinking of taking a hotel near by Thane.

Any recommendations for hotel would be most appreciated, My budget is 3. 5 k for the room.

Hope your fine brother, you paid 10 k at a spa for this? Are you serious? You shld have might as well given it to someone who is needy who wld have blessed you! After reading through such a forum wch has the best and worse experiences, how can you end up paying 10 k at a spa? Hats off to you bro.

Went there out of curiosity. Enquired about the therapists. They are all local. Asked about extras at the reception itself, he mentioned they do provide, but with Nuru no extra payment is required. All settled at the counter. He lined up the available therapists, there were only 3 (two Ms. S's and one Ms. P) and each was worse than the other. Chose the tallest, fattest therapist (I still don't know why). The room wasn't great and looked shady, bed was on the ground and there was a jacuzzi. Ms. S started the massage after I had changed into the dispo and also took off her clothes after 5 minutes. I lay there out of fear since her clothes had hidden how fat she actually was, just layers and layers of blubber unleashed upon my lower body. Closed my eyes to get through this quickly. During the massage one of the staff repeatedly asked Ms. S to open the door, I categorically refused and found the request to be very odd. When 20 minutes remained, asked her to lie down on the bed so I could massage her breasts, stomach and thighs. Also fingered her till she was done while trying to keep her hands away from me. Spent some 5 minutes in the jacuzzi, after which I called time of death on the therapy. Took a quick shower, paid at the counter and ran away from there.

Damage: 10 k.

WIR: absolutely not, shady and unhygienic. The therapists are no prize to look at. I would rather have spent 10 k at Country.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm 26. When I was studying in US I had complete freedom-- I would just swipe my card at an ATM machine and get the cash for mongering or weed. But working as an IT professional in India all my salary money (Rs 30 k) gets deposited in my account (made by my pop). I managed to monger only this one time recently because I had to travel to Bangalore and he gave me a good amount of cash (in case my card doesn't work) and after I spent Rs 10 k at a Spa he did somewhat notice that the numbers didn't add up but he didn't ask me anything. So my question is, I am fairly well off but I need to find a way to spend Rs 10 k from time to time without my family members noticing.

1. Make excuses about parties with friends and withdraw a realistic amounts and stash them safely.

2. Make excuses that phone battery was low / network was weak and hence shopkeepers / vendors couldn't take digital payments and hence you had to pay cash.

3. Withdraw smaller amounts 1-2 k over a few weeks and stash the cash safely.

4. Offer to pay for parties / group events via card / digital payments and collect cash from friends and stash it safely.

5. Open a new account. Some companies require you to open a salary account in their preferred banks.

6. Transfer cash digitally to a trusted friend and get cash from him. You can tell your parents you owed him.

7. Use a combination of all of the above techniques so that you have multiple alibis and its harder for your dad to investigate.

On another note, try to limit your mongering expenses to 10-20% of your salary. That will help you manage your savings better and the expenses will also be under the radar.

Curious to know how others also manage to be discreet in this regard. Especially when parents and spouses have some level of visibility / control over the monger's finances.

Take this more as a life skill suggestion from someone in his early 40's:

As an adult who is working and earning a salary, you have no reason to not have a separate bank account. Regardless of whether you are mongering or living your life in general, you should not be beholden to another person handing you your own hard-earned money. If you feel your father will disapprove, try to reason with him. Else the simplest way is to tell HR that there is some problem with your existing account, and that you want their help to open a company salary account in the bank that your company has a relationship with.

You are right bro. In Mumbai CIM is an exception unlike Delhi where it is quite prevalent. Even the Thais don't offer it. There used to be one girl Eva in the Country spa Kurla who used to provide CIM happily but she left long ago and ever since I am still searching. If I find one, will let you know.
