Yes, I would still take screenshots of important photos and conversation pages and send them to a photo storage app before I delete my Line account from a phone to transfer it to another phone, just to be sure. Agree. But on the off chance that some were not exactly freelancers but regular Thai girls hoping to find a husband or long term support boyfriend, slipping 300-500 baht into their hand as a token gift "for taxi" would also be evidence that the guy isn't just looking for a free fuck.

I will have to go there and ask if you casually offered your P4P date any money at all at the end of that first date and fuck; for travel, taxi fare, to buy her lunch at work the next day, anything?

The fact that she didn't indicate upfront that she expected some kind of money gift for the time and effort she made to meet you or didn't expect something slipped into her hand at your goodbye or didn't raise the issue of it the next day might only mean she was too shy to broach the subject or too worried about losing face if your reaction to the idea of giving her money for her time, effort and fuck (or not, on the first date) was negative.

I suppose some of what I'm talking about depends on how wide the disparity is between your ages and financial conditions. Nowadays, most chat apps have online / cloud backup functionality, along with email registration / linking.

The first process allows restoration and / or transfer of chat history between mobile devices.

The second procedure ensures that you will still have access to your chat account, if and when you lose your phone, or the SIM card expires.

To answer your question: first of all, update your LINE app to latest version. Then, register your email, preferably Gmail (under Settings-Account). Next, back up your chat history (under Settings-Chats-Back Up and Restore). Install LINE on new mobile. Login to new LINE with linked email. Confirm migration, which will disable LINE on previous phone.

This process is almost same for WA & WC. For proof of concept, my LINE history goes back to 2014, WeChat to 2015, and WhatsApp to 2016, and I've upgraded smartphone every 2 years since..

I don't know if this is the right place to ask. I am coming to Thailand in 2 weeks. I have a new phone and want to set up my LINE account to it from my old phone. Several years ago I did it once before when I transferred from an older phone to the old phone. I was successful in transferring the account but could not transfer the messages and chats with my contacts. Some of the contacts could not recognize me without chat history.

Can someone walk me through or is there a website in English to help me? Or should I bring both phones to Bangkok and go the mall and ask for help?

Actually, SirLancelot is correct. That large double space used to be Rainbow 4, before moving to current spot against back wall by staircase. Twister took over the space then. Now, it is back to Rainbow group as #5. Not sure why they didn't recycle the lower numbers, I. E. 1, 2, 3.

Went to Crazy house for the first time since Soi Cowboy reopened with 1 friend. We were there about 15 minutes when he motions for a girl that is dancing on the stage. She acknowledged him and basically said when she is done her few minutes on the stage she will be over.

When she appears he agrees to a Lady Drink and within seconds appears the Tequila and Coke which is 360 baht and of course 2 Lady Drinks. He points at it and says "I said you can have 1 drink". As the waitress is still there she takes away 1 of the drinks and corrects the bar tab to 1 lady drink. No big deal, everyone was smiling and all was OK.

I do the same to another girl about 15 minutes later. She comes over a few minutes later and asks for 2 lady Drinks. I say 1 is enough for now. She says 2 lady drinks!. I say yes I heard you the first time but 1 lady drink is a good starting point. She grabs the menu and points to the Tequila and Coke = $360. I just start shaking my head and say 1 drink. In a puff and smoke she takes off. I watched her for the next hour or so and she did not get 1 lady drink in that time.

I had a quick look around and possibly about half the lady drinks sitting on the tables were the infamous Tequila and Coke = 2 lady drinks. I guess that is the default BS at Crazy House.

I will probably visit Crazy House annually, like I have been doing. Crazy House is OK but it isn't worth 360 to drink with a girl, that is just taking the piss!

Yes, Crazy House was always a big offender on that scam. Girls are pulling that scam in other bars around town now too. Or trying to. I've caught them trying to do it at Kazy Kozy. I mentioned it in a report a while back and that I left the bar and the lady I knew well from pre Covid days who tried to pull it on me and told the mamasan why I was leaving after only one drink and did not take the girl.

In the past few weeks I've had it tried at Random Bar and Lollipop Bar in Nana Plaza and a couple of Soi 7 bars whose names I don't remember.

For me, a girl merely attempting to pull that scam on me is enough for me to know she'd try to pull a scam in the room. I waved off a looker in Random Bar Nana Plaza and changed my mind about buying her a drink after I invited her to sit with me for that reason.

I am willing to give the girl a break if she just asks me if getting a "Tequila and Coke" is ok. As far as I know she might be under pressure by the bar owners to begin every new customer drink order that way. Then she has done her part and I will do my part by saying no just one drink for now.

But if she doesn't ask me if that's ok and just tells the server or as in your case she tries to argue the point, I'm done with her and possibly the whole bar for the night, week, month or longer. And I tend to mention that and why to the mamasan on the way out.
