Do any of you guys have an opinion on whether it's worth it to try and take vacation within the next few months to Thailand?

I know there's a current advisory from the US not to fly to Thailand because of the covid-19 situation. I would hate to fly there and then everything shuts down yet again.

Also, has anyone done the day 5 self test? What was that like?

At 2 pm you will find one in two Soi 6 clubs open. Most open clubs are clustered on the side closer to Beach Road. I don't think bars that are closed at 2 pm open later in the day but I could be wrong. Quality has been picking up slightly over the last 2 months.

There are now a few ok-looking SWs on Beach Road at night. This is also an improvement compared to January-February.

It does not sound like a ripoff as much as it sounds like you not knowing what goes on in clubs these days. What you describe is a shooter girl. They usually go around the club carrying bottles or shots on a tray or in a holder for impulse buying.

The only way I will say this was a rip off is if the girls arrived with only the 1 lady drink you ordered and nothing extra to keep going around to sell to other people.

As predicted, I woke up hungover. I stepped out of bed to get a drink of water but the room was still spinning. I gulped down half a bottle and went back to bed.

The 3000 to the girl is. She will drop the price if she likes you and you don't look or act rich. Yes you may be able to find cheaper girls elsewhere but for me it's about getting the best looking girl.

Not sure about how it is now but pre-COVID unless the gogo girl doesn't like you reciprocal touching was never an issue with any of them.

Agree with Mr. E and Banana Boi. I was in Pattaya in Feb. 2020 just before Covid. Most of the WS bars I frequented had shot girls strolling around in addition to ladydrinks. Barfines were 1500 Baht before midnight and 1000 Baht after with LT prices from 3000-5000 Baht depending on the girl and your negotiating skills. While I agree that Covid has dramatically altered pricing with the lack of tourists, the Go-go's and girls will obviously want to reestablish the market.

I thought it is the LD for the girl, but no it was extra. This way I was charged for 2 LD which I absolutely did not like. I told Mamasan but still she did not intervene and kept the 2 LDs back on table. I just gave money and came out. They did not do anything to stop me. Such a rip off.

1200 Bar fine and 3000 Baht for girl, Total 4200. They can come down to 3000 total but still it is too much if you compare to other girls and bars, it is actually double.

Pin-up and Fahrenheit are another rip offs as you cannot touch the girls much.

After breakfast I decided to go on a mission.

You're right about soi Made in Thailand. When we went to the bars I asked Sam what the complex was called and that's the name he gave me. But a few days later we walked to soi 7 and when we passed a big vacant lot, he told me that used to be SMIT! So unless the beer bar complex just to the side of Tree Town (a short walk behind Moonlight) has changed name, I received dud information!

As for Buzzin Bar, I've been keen to drop in repeatedly as I've seen his excellent videos on Youtube, but there have hardly been any girls in there, just a load of guys. Maybe I've just been very unlucky when I've walked past.
