So I have been visiting a professional spa inside a luxury 5 star hotel solely for a good massage over the last couple of months and generally tip about 500 rupees if the massage has been exceptional. Chances of getting extras are nil. I'm a regular to one particular therapist over the last couple of months.

Had recently opted for a full body massage and selected my favourite therapist. Massage started out very well. In fact it was excellent! I was of course wearing my disposable and I was covered at all times with a large towel. However when I had turned over the therapist suddenly out of nowhere asked me " Sir, are you married?" I answered "No" and the next immediate question was "do you have a girlfriend?" My answer was "No" to this as well. I asked if she was married or had a boyfriend and she answered "No" as well.

For the next 10-15 minutes what followed was friendly small talk. After which I had my shower and left. I asked if she would be interested in hanging out for coffee on her weekends to which her answer in Hindi was [Deleted by Admin].

Why would a therapist ask such a personal question when the chances of her offering extras and next to nil. She would not be working In a professional spa in a 5 star hotel if she wanted to earn fast money by way of offering extras.

Amar Murthy nagar, is quite vast but not so vast, basically more of a slum population here and there. But has some selected good lane / area. Do a VC, and if any other guy come there to pick you up to some other location then it's a red flag. Better take exact location and reach there. Observe from outside for some good minutes, surroundings and then proceed (just my two cents as precaution) Since it's first time, carry only a basic low phone with minimal fund.
