So this one chica I've been chatting with on Facebook wants to go to San Pedro for the Semana Santa for the festival or whatever they have there. We seem to click, but her profile seems fake and I mean we know how this can go. She picks the spot, has some homies nearby and bam. I'm outside of Medellin and pennyless / phoneless. Not a good spot to be in!

My question is, how could I do this with her while still protecting myself? I'm going to get to Medellin right around the beginning of that week, so we have time to meet up in safe locations and get to know each other better. I think I might take her to see a movie that's she was talking about, also fool around at a motel or two. She doesn't seem to have a job or a kid or family. So there's that. Do I just always keep her at arms length? Honestly I myself would like to see what's going on in San Pedro. I'm not Christian or religious, but festivity is festivity.

My first mongering trip I made the mistake you're trying to make. There was a girl, she was hot, we seemed to really hit it off in the weeks before my trip. I was convinced to meet up with her and take her to another place for a few days. Fortunately, the night before I was supposed to meet her, I realized that I was in over my head. I didn't know the girl, I didn't know the country, I didn't even know the language. What were we going to do for 72 hours? What if we didn't hit it off in person? Not only would I be wasting 3 days of my vacation, but I would be spending much more than necessary.

Instead I canceled and got myself to an easy mongering destination and ended up having a great time and I cut my expenses enough to stay 2 days longer.

Go to Medellin, meet the girl, meet several girls and have fun. If you find one you want to spend more time with after you've enjoyed sex with her, go on a date, see a movie, whatever. Then on your next trip maybe think about taking her somewhere for a few days.

I'm visiting in May. I have a question about darker skinned chicas.

Are there many options for darker skinned girls in Medellin? And are there particular venues to find them? I've RTFF for 50+ pages but nothing jumps out in particular.

I've been reading the Cali forum and I'm attracted to visit there for the preponderance of dark skinned chicas, but I would be travelling only for 2 days (3 nights) and it's looking like $100 USD for flights, plus 4 airport taxis, which I can think of much better things to spend money on! Cali interests me in general due to the salsa scene, but I'm only on a 7 day trip as it is so it is a bit time-killer to fly to another city in that time. But willing to do it if I'm unlikely to find what I'm looking for in Medellin..

Can you give a better definition of dark skinned?

Most of the girls in Medellin have dark skin, when compared to white girls from the Midwest. However, it's more of a medium tan than dark. There are black women, ranging from light skinned to very dark. If you're looking for exclusively very dark black women, you'll have to search a bit harder in Medellin, but you can find them.

Much more common are the mestizos, a mixture of white and indigenous people, with tan to dark tan skin.

Leave MDE in a week. Been here 3 months. Higher highs and lower lows than ever before, but overall wouldn't trade a second of it for anything else. Look I'm not an idiot. But I see in the posts people discussing money + taxi for negotiation. So how do you pay the taxi for someone arriving?

If the girl needs money to pay for the taxi, she will usually mention it when you're setting the date. Once she arrives, she'll message you to come down and pay. Just head down to the street, pay the driver and take her up to your room.

Best thing to do is negotiate a price which includes their transportation and let them figure it out.

Why is that way the best? Edumucate me. Did you intend to say, "This is the way I do it?" or is it really the best way and why? If I should change the way I do it, I will.

Will have to go back and try it again. First time I went was in December and they few girls available at the time were just average but doable. Best thing to do is negotiate a price which includes their transportation and let them figure it out. If you go with the "fee plus taxi" model, then I usually use one of three options:

1) I go down to meet her at the taxi and pay what's on the meter (if the meter is erased, I won't pay). I give her about the same when she leaves.

2) Send her home by Uber, which you pay for through your phone.

3) Have her use Driver and note the amount that she offers to the driver.

Once you have been in Medellin long enough, you'll have a good idea what it costs to bring girls to your place. Girls from Bello, Popular, Sabaneta, Itagui will cost more (depending on where you are) and girls coming from Belen, Aranjuez, Manrique, etc. Will cost you less.

This is classic risk versus reward. The easy and short answer would be "go for it!" and probably everything would work out fine. But your own awareness is warning you of the traps and pitfalls, or worse. Long story short, if this is your first trip to Medellin, you bit off more than you can chew. Aim a little lower, and you can still have the time of your life by just being here and discovering the Medellin Magic with your new friend.

Let's just say it's way more of a relaxed experience for me when nice hot showers are available before and after fuck and relaxing massage sessions.

80-90 percent of the residential population of the greater Medellin area do not have hot water. If you grew up without hot water your whole life, I bet a cold shower feels normal.

They get used to it, some of them love the hot water, some of the girls avoid it. I've had girls laugh at me because I would not stand in a cold shower.
