Given that I have never dealt with SPs, I wonder what is the standard procedure that reliable SPs would not have an issue with?

I am someone who seeks outcall only (I would like bird to check into hotel for play time). My thinking is chat with SP to know who is available, rates, logistics of checkin etc. Once that's closed, ask for video call to make sure what you see is what you get. If that works, then get into hotel and wait for girl. Ideally, pay girl once deed is over (not prior to that).

Should that be agreeable to most reliable SPs? Request seniors who've been there done that to share some thoughts. Tia.

I've mostly done outcalls with a specific SP. The only thing I did differently was I had to pay once the bird reached my hotel / place. There were a couple of times I got ripped off though because the bird turned out to be horrible in terms of service. Not that he offered a refund but he was very cautious going forward to not send girls who have got complaints against them. Took a while to develop that trust as I became a regular.

As per my knowledge, only one spa called Rudra in Mahagun mall basement got raided by LE & that too on 2nd April'22. If you are talking about any other incident, please clarify as we need to be cautious then.

Not a great experience at andaz. They have bouncer kind of people at the reception area who frown upon and ask the girl to submit the ID at the reception. If you don't mind that, can go for it. I would say better to submit ID at reception since it is safer.
