I don't know if it has to do with recent raid or it's just for me, holiday inn was quite strict on visitor policy. Unfortunately I had to do the checking in with a lady staff and she insisted I provide the name of the guest while checking in. I tried to evade but she reminded me twice. Quite embarrassing. This was not doable unless they check with superior and not easy to edit in system etc etc. I did not argue on this as the reception was crowded always and its very difficult to argue on these delicate issues. Better to stay in different places on each day if you plan to take multiple girls.

During the checkout, the guy asked my room number and read out names of the occupants to confirm. Including the girl's name. He knew what was happening and I was alone now but still he read out the name of the WG aloud as if to embarrass me. I have never seen anyone reading out names of the guest during checkout. Confirming my name is fine but why read out the girl's name out loud.

They seem to deter such check in but stop just short of refusing your stay.

Don't forget to write a negative review on the feed back and in google. They are very much concerned on the promotion of business on post covid time. They were running behind me on my negative review on linen when I stayed in Feb. I brought different girls at that time and nothing was mentioned in the reception desk about the joiners. May be business have gone up and had some bad incidents on reputation. Don't forget that expensive five star hotels are the only safe houses for mongers in Delhi.

I forgot to mention. They wanted to allocate me a twin bed room as double room was not ready and I needed to wait for double room I had booked. I clearly told the guest was a lady but still the receptionist wanted to give a twin room. This was at 2:30 pm when the checkin was at 3 pm. I stood my ground and wanted a double room. Twin room for couple booking. Seriously these guys need negative reviews. I have written a few negative reviews already.
