I was out of this mongering scene for some time and got back into action since last month. I had taken a Seeking subscription last year for a month and generated enough leads which I have exhausted by now. I will be sharing my experiences in other reports. But this is about the payment issue that we all are facing on seeking due to our Indian cards. I got an email from seeking last week about an offer, which was giving 33 percent discount. So decided to renew my membership. First time I used google play, but reading about fellow brothers' report decided against it, as didn't want to take any chances because if the google payment doesn't go through, than I will be stuck with the amount in play store. And in any case we cannot get 33 percent discount using google play. So tried to make the payment in the browser (not the app) using my IDFC visa debit card. Tried 3-4 times but it didn't go through and I received the message "payment validation failed". Called my bank and they told me that the merchant is blocked due to security reason. Wrote to seeking and receive a link with the discount offer. Used my Kotak bank visa debit card and got the OTP option as well (Indian debit cards require 2 FA). But the payment failed again. Reset my browser by deleting all the data and tried again. And it worked in the second attempt. Voila. Membership renewed. Now I have one full month, which can be used to generate leads for next 6 months and that too at a 33 percent discount. Total payment deducted was 5900 something. And if you don't want to renew it, please make sure that you disable auto renewal option in settings. We can also use a US gift card, but I didn't try that as it was asking for US pin code and stated that it can't be used for subscriptions. Not sure though. Hope this is helpful to all my friends, who are finding it difficult to make payment to renew the subscription.
