Friends,

Some tips for newbies to avoid scams. I've been on SA for 8 years and learnt the hard way.

1. No advance payment. Not ever. It has never ended well.

2. Avoid anyone insisting you communicate only on whatsapp.

3. Reverse image search your pic, to make sure your identity is not revealed. (or a pic from FB, which you can claim someone copied).

4. If checking into a hotel, try and get a copy of girls ID. That the only way you can make a police complaint, if it ever comes to that.

5. I'm single, I prefer doing a UPI transfer to show that I've paid a hooker, not raped a girl looking for a job (if you are married, cash is better).

6. I avoid local girls with family in the city. If she gets busted, family can come after you.

7. Avoid hotels the girl suggests.

8. Don't say anything you will regret in a video call.

Finally, I think we guys have far more negotiating experience in our professional lives, than the girls, let's not think with our dicks and get scammed, or overpay.

San_1997 - Too many red flags that can't be ignored, strongly felt she is a scammer or someone with attitude issues.

1. She never visited my profile in Seeking and she was giving one word responses to my questions.

2. She didn't request for my pics either in SA or in TG.

3. Her pics were too good to be true.

4. She insists on meeting her at her apartment. I asked if she is ok to visit me at a 5 star hotel, she said NO. This is a big red flag for me based on my experience in the US. I have read stories where guys are ambushed after entering the girl's apartment. Not sure if any such horror incidents happen in India.

I had exactly the same experience. Meeting at her place alone is a red flag.

Russians have already lost all goodwill around the world after their Ukraine invasion. Americans and English anyway never liked them. They can only turn to Arabs now if they hate brown skin. I have had limited experience with CIS girls and it was below par and I think Ukrainian girls are also equally cold as Russians, so we should just not keep high expectations from any Soviet or CIS girls.

I have lived in Russia and speak fairly good Russian. Been with Russian women in Russia and I agree with you.

Russians are racist. The best that can be said about Indians is that we are higher in the racial pecking order than Blacks, Jews and people from the Islamic world, but way below whites.

Most Indians in Russia are the medical student type, who stayed on as they could not get jobs in India, so that affects how Russian women view us. It was different when they saw that I was a senior guy in a leading MNC. If I tell Russians on SA that I lived in Moscow, their aukat goes down.

These are a few profiles are of scammers on SA who will ask for advance, gift cards or try to get you to invest in some forex, crypto exchange. I'm only sharing the ones I've encountered bin the past 2-3 days. There are many such profiles on sa and I don't want to waste my time to dig up all these profiles from my inbox so only sharing a few of them. Beware bros, don't pay no advance or gift cards.

I recently joined SA. Here are a couple of pointers for other newbies:

1) I read that some people were having trouble paying the fee. I tried the one month recurring subscription with my Credit Card and the payment didn't get through. My CC provider sent me the following message ". Your recurring transaction on Credit / Debit card ending xxxx at W8TECH.COM*SA on dd-mmm-yyyy for xxxx is declined due to RBI directive on processing of recurring transactions with additional authentication. We apologize for the inconvenience. " I tried with my debit card, based on a suggestion on this forum, and the payment went through. So.

2) I realized that the 33% seems to be floating often enough. Even if it's not showing on your account, you could probably still use a promo code and get it. For now, the following promo code is working VWO33 RBELT1.

3) A lot more scammers (people giving their whatsapp numbers from the word go) than I had imagined. Beware.

Hello mate,

This is the best way to handle them in my opinion as well. The moment a GPS pitch is made, I switch over to 'give a damn mode' and reply in a passive aggressive way. To such girls, we lose battle and our self respect the moment we counter with a lower figure or tell our budget. Rather tell them that, there are enough better options and we are glad to let go of her. Now they don't want to let go of us.

We should remember that it's much much harder for them to filter and meet a serious guy who is willing to pay a decent allowance in a nice place.

Trust me, no need to go above 20 k, I have came across many such GPS profiles and never waste my time, yet found good ones even in 8 k to 10 k. Strange, but the good experience were all in 8-15 k. Remember, Higher prices doesn't guarantee good service. The market seems to be much broader outside of ISG as some of these GPS profile still quote 50 k who were quoting same 2 years back. So there are definitely people paying this much and they just need 1 or 2 such desperate guys that's all. So can't really do much but even if no one from here agrees to these cats they should find it harder to survive hopefully becoz its demand and supply in the end.

Have you tried finding through mistay? There are cheaper options for 5 star properties for short stay of up to 6 hrs.

That's not accurate bro. Even if you plan and book early you will be spending around 50 k on tickets alone back and forth.

A friend of mine stayed in Russia for a month due to work and found that Russians don't really think highly of Indians, well he hung out with professionals and generally middle class Russians. Maybe poor Russians don't mind mixing it up with Indians and the rest.

Either way I don't agree with your point that Russian kats like Indian guys. Its probably only an economic compulsion for them to be Indian guys.

Even asked me why I was on sa if could not afford to give her 3 lakhs. I asked her if she thought adani, ambani are on sa. To which she replied 3 lakhs would be like dust for adani. LOL.

I then proceeded to make a fool of myself by giving her an economics class as how adani and gang are looking govt banks via giving a cut back to govt. How all of them like lalit, nirav, malya, mehul will run away one they pay the loans of sarkari banks, leaving Indian population to foot the bill of excesses and corruption of these celebrated business icons.

Kat then proceeded to block me and tell me that she only wants adani type not done professor type like me who can't even spend 3 lakhs.

Even if you plan and book tickets months in advance you will still be spending at least 60 k just on tickets to and fro from Europe or Russia. Then you got to stay there and eat drink mover around with Kats or your Desi friends so that means you will be spending something around 1.5 lakh at least. So it's not cheap or better economic deal as you say.

Also Russian kats don't like Indian guys. I've had friends live and work in Russia for a while and they said generally the middle class and well off Russians don't have a positive opinion of Indian bros. Only the poor Kats who are willing to sleep with anyone who is spending money on them speak well of Indian guys who are spending money on them.

I understand a little Russian and I've been friends with a few Russian Kats (non sa Kats and I've not slept with them). I noticed how these Russian Kats (non sa ones) in India are very clever and have identified traits of Indian guys if different regions. They actually hate the macho north Indian Delhi Punjab hryana up crowd and joke about the Bombay Goa, south Indian crowd as slimy operators who stink a lot.

One of them Russian Kats even had a baby with a rich Rajastani guy, then divorced him right after the baby was born. I asked her why and she said she only married the guy for the money and after divorce she gets to spend half his money. These Russian Kats are very brutal.

I also know if this Russian Indian couple dating for over 1 year now Both have been my friends for a while now. The guy is a south Indian working in a big mnc earning very well and the Russian kat runs a holistic medicine training school. Both ***** about each other to me. The south Indian guy says the Russian kat just uses him to spend his money and then keeps his away.

While the Russian Kats keeps moaning to me how the south India guy is a weak mamma's boy and also kinda impotent. I think she is plans to leave the guy if she gets a better option and is eyeing me to be the option eventhough I earn less than the south Indian guy. However shukracharya doesn't betray bros so I always deflect the Russian Kats advances in a joking way. As it is the Russian kat is a middle aged kat of around 40. I'm not interested in getting it on with her.

But what is even more Krazy is the fact that these russian Kats are actually interested in turkic and Arabic men! That's just bonkers a lot of them wtch these turkic shows and have told me they find those guys attractive.

So my friend the reality is most of Indian guys see Russian Kats and cold, money hungry Kats. And most of the Russian Kats don't like Indian men butbr dating them or sleeping with them only because bof economic compulsions.

I have to Georgia, Poland and Belarus and was fun. Always wanted to go Odessa. Moscow and St Peterborough is on cards this year. My friends staying there have fun as Russian gals love Indian men and English speaking men! So I'd say its easy. Tinder too works well there. If one plans then its better quality and quantity at lesser price.

Thanks for the heads up. I was in touch and 100% was going to meet. Glad didn't go for her as was preoccupied. 15 k for 4 hrs could have extended though. Turns out she has 2 active profiles HonestRunner and LovingGeek I think. HonestRunner is a replacement of another old profile. She is very concerned about her identity etc plus is a legit student so thought would be nice as in the pics. Unfortunate it didn't go well.
