If you're looking for some "ambiance" I finally found those brothels in Mwananyamala. People have been asking but there never came an answer. I was standing right next to it several times at the "Hospital Bus Stop" next to Mwananyamala Hospital. You can see the zone in this YouTube video: "WRONG ROUTE!! THE DARK SIDE OF DAR ES SALAAM. ".

If you walk a little further past the Hospital you'll see a small square with some bars, all very dark. In the corner there's some fruit machines. That's where you walk in. It's the largest red light zone I have see so far. Two horizontal lanes with 4 lanes in between. I think as much as 100 rooms with red lights. I've been there at 4 pm, 9 pm and 11 pm. At least 50 girls there at 11 pm. You won't see it from the street. 6/10 is the best you'll find. Depending what you want it's value for your money or not. Service starts at 10 k but the girl I took refused to go to my hotel so I had to bang her on the spot. Bed was ok but washing in a bucket. Strictly Swahili here, I'd spend my 30 k elsewhere.

Sinza:

Ambiance: I finally noticed it, it is there next to former Corner Bar but remains dark and closed.

Corner Bar: The whole grill and bar is called Vibes Lounge now, two hookers on staff.

Olympia: So this is not former Ambiance, it's a different club with some freelancers.

Be Max Lounge: Nothing inside but next door is Ray's Lodge and there's 2 hookers standing there.

Kitambaa Cheupe: Same place as is referred to as Meeda (it's actually in front of Meeda Investments hence the mix up) Didn't see hookers inside but there's some to the left and right of the bar.

Oyster Bay:

Q Bar: Finally saw some hookers inside on Sunday night, nothing amazing.

Wavuvi Kempu: On Coco Beach. Expected a lot, my heart started beating faster when I was welcomed by a girl in a dress but none of them were hookers, just lousy 4 k for a coke.

Kinondoni:

V Ways bar: Nice bar with no hookers.

Meridian Hotel Club Maasai: Closed or empty during the week, hardly any people on Sunday. Friday and Saturday probably packed. Maybe hookers on those days, not sure. Down to the main road there's some street hookers.

Manzese:

Tip Top Bar: there's street hookers in the alleys behind Tip Top, where you see "Lunch Time Hotel". Not what I expected from a hood like Manzese but didn't find more, well Lambo also weekends only.

Mikoroshoni:

Triple 7: deserted on Thursday, +255 Lounge was full that night. Don't expect hookers.

I followed up on this post on jammi:

"Imagine the whole area between Kwa God and Lubumbashi, the houses in the middle are all holes. The area is full of prostitutes at 1 pm and they are not afraid of anything. ".

What they mean is that there's a small Spa Hotel with two girls about 100 m up from 4 Ways Park Kinondoni in Bint Matole Road. These posts seem a waste of time.

Dalla Dalla's are nearly all going till at least 11 pm making transport cheap once you get it.

This list appears on sites like jammi and facebook in 2018, who knows where it originated from. Like you said you republished it, I'm sure with the best intentions but it is a complete fake. There is absolutely not a single prostitute present in the majority of these bars listed. Tiny local bars have nothing but guys present.

The list is nonsense but investigating all these places does get you somewhere, the action not in the bars mentioned but sometimes in the area you stumble on street hookers. I haven't visited every place on the list yet but enough to know it's not real.

None of these bars has hot girls for a budget like Capital Pub in Kampala where I had many girls. I'm not going to pay Samaki prices.

It's good someone did the leg work. Never forget prostitution is illegal in Tanzania. When I was in Sinza there were plenty of SWs in front of now razed Corner Bar. That was a dungeon. Several times there were police razzias and girls fled from the street. As for now I don't know the present situation. One thing is for sure. Not much to beat Kampala. On my recent trip to Dar es Salaam, I stayed at Q-bar (I was being lazy to find for girls and from what I heard, Q bar always have girls).

I picked a girl for $40 from downstair club and took her to my room, half way through the sex she started demanding more money. She stopped sex and said give me $100.

I went to front desk to complain and seems like they were all in it together. Front desk guy said he can't help and give her whatever she asks. The girl threatened me with her goons who were still present at the bar (I saw them). Since Hotel itself was in it with them, I knew there weren't going to protect me nor did I trust to call police (I might be eve in more trouble).

I had to pay $100 extortion, as it was my beginning of 15 days vacation and I didn't want to ruin it.

The question is how big are your balls. I had this situation 2 times in my life. The girl ended up getting nothing. If you're scared, you lose. I never pay more than what's agreed.

Between Peninsula Hotel, Q Bar and Samaki Samaki some streetwalkers uhm. The dirt road on Afrika Sana Sinza on the other hand! Didn't see any on Coco Beach.

Since the girls on Africa Sana were so worth the while I'd like to check some more locations with girls on the street. Any locations? If you spotted any at all I'd like to go see.

Both Airtel and Vodacom sell routers with a simcard. This is recommended in budget hotels. Your own wifi for the laptop.

Airtel: 50 k for the router and 100 k for 48 gb, good for 60 days.

Vodacom: 87 k for the router and 50 k for 25 gb, good for 30 days.

Just one simcard per passport so choose wisely who you want to call or surf with. Speeds up to 20 Mbps decent enough.

Go to Equity Bank. No charges. There's one in Africa Sana junction in the fuel station. If that doesn't work there's a big branch not too far away with 2 ATMs. Get yourself a Revolut if you can. Best invention since sliced bread.

As I write to the umpteenth time. Forget AirBnB in Africa. No need. There's loads of cheap guest houses for 10 $ around.

Stone town:

I called Boda Boda to take me to a bar to meet a girl (picked her from Tinder). My mistake I told that guy who am I meeting and for what. He took me in narrow streets of Stonetown and stopped the bike at one shop. A fat middle Easter looking friendly guy sitting there talked to this driver and driver said road ahead is blocked so he has to drop me off (first red signal).

This middle eastern guy told me, he knows some hot Arabic women who provide services very discreetly because they need money but from very good family. I stupidly got interested, We went to some bar, he called one girl and 30 something hot arabic girl showed up in 10 min. Now he asked 20,000 Tzs for the cab. I knew there's no cab. But I still paid. Then the girl said she is hungry and she ordered full pizza meal and a beer. This guy is already on his 3rd beer. Now they told me to go to another hotel near by, I said no I will take her to my hotel room. (My hotel was run by an Indian family and all families were staying there so I didn't want to bring a prostitute but since this girls was wearing a hijab abd full body covered, it would raise any issue). This guy asked me to pay for the bill which was about 60,000 Tzs, and asked 30,000 tzs for his help I only gave him 10,000 but by now I was already 90,000 down.

We called a cab and me and that chick got into the cab. On the way she started acting weird and told me you; re drunk and she will only come to hotel if I pay her full amount (100,000 Tzs). Well by now I was already starting to get a sense of scam and didn't let my dick take over my mind. I stopped the cab and told her to get the fuck out (I knew I was 90,000 but could potentially end up loosing a lot more and had I been stupid and gone to their suggested room god knows how much I would have lost, I had 2 iPhones and $500 USD cash with credit cards with me).

Overall I got a strong feeling I could have been in serious trouble and the only reason she started asking money up front was to run away and I didn't comply with their plan to go to their choice of hotel where they could rob me even more.

Paje:

This was a potential threat. A security guard at the next hotel told me to get a hot girl. He took me with him in narrow streets of Paje, stopping at various places and all, but I was getting further away from my hotel and he had already 2 of his friends joined us and started getting a feeling that stage is setting up a potential robbery and while we were still in a market place, I said I am not feeling well and jump on the passing boda boda.

AfroIntro worked better for me. Talked to girls 2 weeks in advance, they were all prostitutes but provided me much better service at my convenience.

In Tanzania, you need to be constantly watch out for potential traps and as soon as you sense something is fishy, get the fuck out. Pussies are plenty just protect yourself.

In my experience, stay at good hotel where you trust hotel staff to protect you. Stay away from Q bar.

Thanks for the update. I've got the same problem in Qbar but with a different technique. The girl after a first round started a fight to get immediately paid. I've then said that I'll pay at the end when all is finished. She escalated and broke a bottle to threat me. We were both naked and I hesitated to fight back since it could have a very bad ending and eventually a police station ending. So I've paid 150000 TZS to stop it. The staff have been helpful anyway and they have put her on blacklist. No goons this day. I think the problem is to fuck in the same room that the one you live in. The girls see that. You have all your valuables and a crazy one, especially a on drug one, won't hesitate to be violent to get more money. Better take an extra guestroom cost.
