I had posted this question before and got satisfactory answers. Recently I was able to experience the reality.

You are completely wrong bro. Couple friendly doesn't mean monger friendly. If you book a room using two persons, that room is allotted to those two persons only. No hotel will ever allow a third person who doesn't pay price or book room. Try doing that in Delhi or Mumbai and you will be thrown out of the hotels.
