You won't actually be blackmailed. There's nothing to gain for the blackmailer and a downside, because it is illegal and cops take complaints seriously.

A simple precaution is not to disclose your tel no (a bribe can get a scammer your details given to the phone co and current location) and do not make your profile on social media publicly visible. In the unlikely event details are shared with someone, you can say this was a fake message and you are being blackmailed.
