Today I became nostalgic because I realized that in 2023 it is 40 years since I first time was in Rio. I have tried most things around Ipanema Copacabana. Almost all trips has been for business. Now I am in my 70 ies (Brazilians think I am in my 50 ies), but I still travel to Rio for work about every 3rd month and stay there 10-14 days.

So is Google FI data or Wi-Fi in Brazil. Since you can't get a Brazilian SIM card in Brazil like Mexico, does google fi give you a new number with data and Wi-Fi. You would be using data in Brazil with google fi. Is that correct.

The Google FI Website and YouTube videos can explain it better than me since I'm not a salesman. Hehe (Or contact customer service).

Correct, You will get a phone number and you use service just like any other cell phone plan (depending on plan you select).

You get a data plan (for when you are away from Wifi) and You connect to WiFi on your phone (I. E. Hotel room or any place with WiFi) I don't make or receive phone calls since I only understand English, I primarily use it with WhatsApp (and social media and online services like Uber).

I have had many long-lasting relationships with very proper, non-working girls. Also sugar babies and of course: garotas de programa. Now it is mostly the latter! I usually start the evening having a drink at Mabs usually I am alone. Often a terrible place and little / nothing of interest. However, if you stay an hour, a few times it is possible to find a diamond a young, unspoilt girl who drops by because she needs some money for her studies or maybe for a new pair of jeans. If I find such a girl, I often have her back evening after evening. When I am fed up at Mabs, I continue to Casablanca. Many hard boilt garotas with considerable mileage, but also here there are exceptions. I can also go home alone if I don't find the right one. Brazilian women are usually badly treated by their boyfriends lovers husbands. If you behave like a gentleman and treat them tenderly and with respect your reward is without any borders. I have almost completely kept my activities around Copacabana for convenience because I have limited time due to lots of work. However, after Eastern I am back for only beach and women to celebrate my 40th anniversary as a Rio vet. Then I will visit Villa Mimosa, Mosaico, Barra, and Centro. Never too late for new experiences!

When Hooker Beach was rocking years ago, you could squeeze in an afternoon session for a good price. The girl would disappear with you for awhile presuming you stayed near the beach. That might not be true anymore. Back then, hot girls could always find a score at night. An afternoon session at the beach was a bonus for them.

Her throwaway first ask was are $1,000! When I told her I wouldn't dream of paying half of that she asked what I was prepared to offer! However, whilst this was all going on through Zap I happened to have a mind blowing sexual experience elsewhere at a cost closer to are $200, so I've currently put the beach discussion on hold.

I'the never heard of this specific spot, but your question titillated me so I took a visit yesterday. Whilst I can't speak for what it used to be like, I can confirm that three young and pretty WGs (all solid 7's+) did indeed come and position themselves right in front of me on the beach yesterday afternoon, and brazenly proceeded to work on the suntan between their upper thighs! I'm currently working on one of them through WhatsApp, but her expectations are currently rather high for me!

You can get a brand new number if you want. That's what I did. I leave my regular phone in the room and use an inexpensive phone I got on Amazon. Or you can port an existing number if you want. There's a few different plans and you have the option to shut off data or the whole plan. It does reactivate after 3 months of inactivity automatically. They send you an email notification and you can easily shut it back off. Google fi runs on whatever network is available, so yes it is running on a Brazilian mobile network. It also automatically switches to wifi to save you data and minutes if you have a wifi connection.

Read the fine print! Google fi only works for 3 months internationally. Worked great for 3 months and they cut off my data stating a clause that said Fi should but used in the United States. Left me high and dry. Had to get a Claro sim card. Email from Fi stated if I return to US then would reinstate data. I didn't even use a lot of data. About 4 gb a month. Never again!

This I was unaware of. Thanks for sharing it. I wonder if you ran vpn for a couple days if that would work. Maybe put it in airplane mode before you go to bed. Then in the morning turn on the vpn and run it for a day or two then do the reverse. I know that's a pain the ass but it could be a possible work around for someone long term out of country.

I usually only do a week or 2 max trip so google fi is perfect for me. When I retire I may have to look for a better option.

Hello guys, I'm going to Rio in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone can help out a newb. I consistently contribute to cartagena trip reports, but first time in Rio and will report back. Through basic research, I plan visit some of the famous termas (Centaurus, 4 x4, Monte carlo) and couple massge spots (RJ massage). Any comments on those?

My main question is, night clubs. Are there any night clubs similar to (LDV or Space in Cartagena) where you can drink, hang out, but all the girls there are working girls, therefore, your work is cut out for you. And my second question is strip clubs- if I'm interested in taking back to my abnb, is strip clubs a good choice? Are there high take out fees? And what is the best option for someone looking for take out?
