Kalighat was one of the first places I mongered decades back, but never went recently. This place is mainly for low end csw, and you cannot definitely compare it with SG which has a wide variety of options to suit every budget. If approaching the bridge from Hazra side, the girls will be standing on the left hand side of the bridge. Also the lane on the left before the bridge which goes towards the temple has many buildings for this profession and aunties can be found standing on the streets. Main difference which I noticed between this and a low end option on SG are-.

I have experience doing it both at Leather complex and Newtown as well.
