No idea brother. This was the first time I ventured to a DB in Kolkata.

In my personal opinion it is not worth going to the DBs in Kolkata. I may be wrong about this and may be there are a lot better places which I don't know about. So this is just based on my limited experience at the three DBs around Esplanade area.

I have been to DBs and SBs in Mumbai. And also to one or two in Delhi. And what I realised is that for any kind of DB experience it's best to do that in Mumbai. In Mumbai dancing girls are hot and they actually dance pretty well and passionately. There the ambience is different and has an electric feel. In Kolkata it was a very different story. These are DBs just for the name. In reality these are just sad orchestra bars.

It must also be mentioned that while the DBs in Mumbai are far far better, they are also far more expensive. One beer at a Mumbai DB costs between 800-1200 or more ++ all the tips, to the dancing girls, coatwallahs, waiters, gate man etc etc. And having a good time for around 2-3 hours will set you back by minimum 4000-5000.

If one is spending that much for watching women dance in Kolkata then I think it makes way more sense in Kolkata to go to SG. Even for lesser money you can choose your woman and watch her dance naked. And additionally you get to fuck her right there if you want to: the.

I have been visiting these dbs' since last 9 or more years. Kolkata dbs' hardly promoted the culture to hookup at first sight. There are bouncers who can help you to shower money on the girls and contact number could be exchanged in table napkins. But once you do that the girls may start chatting but their sole agenda is to ensure that you visit again. And if you are thinking of shagging them be ready to shower a lot of cash but still limited chance. But I can certainly tell that the quality of girls and the inside ambience have deteriorated a lot. I have been visiting Paris before they had extended the dance floor and installed those dance sticks. But these days night queen, and other ones at that side of paradise theater have gained traction.

Anyway if you are that close then better you checkout the anglo indian colnial dance bars. I forget but you have to walk little bit inside after crossing broadway bar. But be ready as that place has hygeine issue and lot of pigs roaming openly on streets. Another options are ultadanga and bypass road opposite of big bazar. Not sure if the big bazar is still there or not but there used to be a KFC, one ktm, one baleno showroom.
