My two cents. I still visit Thailand for holidays, being from Africa, I have to agree with sentiment that Thailand, Philippines are great countries to visit, however progress there has reduced the mongering scene to one of being for the better off financially, wise. I have been to Asia numerous times, and recently to Mombasa, Kenya three times. If I could use one word to sum up the difference it's "attitude.
