Bros, issue with HIV infection is how the society treats such people. Then the lifelong medicines, AIDS etc come into picture. Go to any nearby hospital and see either internal medicine or infectious disease specialist and get prescribed for HIV PEP. If you visit any doctor who does not prescribe (as had happened with me!) , Forget the doctor and money as a wastage and see another doc.

And please, NO BAREBACK EVER WITH ANY WG or MP Therapist. "Bimaari na lena na dena" (Translate: Neither should we take nor should we give the disease).

Forget every other religion for next 28-30 days, just take the pill (s) as prescribed by the doctor in the same time daily. I was prescribed TLD. But better to talk to doc once!

I guess you can start PEP even after 72 hours although opinions vary whether they will work or not, but why not give a chance.

Its been 24 hours. So far, feeling fine; is there anything precautionary I should / could do?

Unfortunately, "so far, feeling fine" can only take you so far. There are STDs which do not show symptoms immediately, worst of all being HIV. You could get a full spectrum of tests done for STDs. For HIV, if your doctor recommends, you could start PEP treatment within first 72 hours.

Normally it should be fine take care in near future.

Check for any abnormalities ie fever redness itching warts (cauliflower like growth) or discharge from p.

It takes 3-4 days for fully blown symptoms to appear.

If anything out of ordinary is observed then get it checked and treated by urologist.

A pep course can be started for complete peace of mind but it should happen within 72 hrs post that don't do pep.

Please take a lot of condoms and plenty of water-based lube. I had a condom break episode in Delhi some days back and am in HIV PEP for a month. Fingers crossed. My bad as she lubed with oil and I didn't finger before inserting. You may apply condom while fingering also. All the best.

Most likely you have got an UTI for which you will have to do urine routine test and a urine culture. Urine routine test report you will get within a day. Urine culture will take 3 days of time. Dr Lal PathLabs STD panel test doesn't contain all kinds of STD test like gonorrhoea, chlamydia. STD panel test reports will come within same day.
