There are laws and then there is execution of the law. There are many laws which are made in Indonesia, at the time of elections to draw votes. But like any other country, all the bordellos and bang bang places are controlled by mafia + politicians themselves. So, if you are in Jakarta. You don't have to worry at all. I have been to places in Jakarta without any fear and with cops standing right outside because its all managed and controlled. So if you are visiting there, just enjoy. Better than burning money in Ggn or Delhi. Sh*t quality and exorbitant price! The best part. If you have a sharp notes, Indonesian chicks dig it.
