What are you paying on average for ST these days? And do you expect that number to drop come July to August?

I rarely do ST, but it is 1000 baht when I do.

Thailand is much more safer than USA in general. In Thailand I only worry about pot holes in the sidewalks breaking my ankles plus Motorbikes running into me when I cross the streets. In my hometown we have homeless that are methedup' and begging for money along with shootings everyday.

Sounds familiar. The only two things that scare me in Pattaya are the sidewalks and soi dogs.

Some bars are full of girls but it's most of the time a Nightwish Group bar so you don't know what to expect with these girls.

Other bars have very few girls and most of the times older and unattractive.

Plus they are not good at attracting customers inside, they give a fake smile along a fake "hallooo welcomme" but if you don't give them your attention immediately their smile disappears instantly.

Thailand is not safer than the USA. Number 7 is bunk. Relatively speaking, you are RICH and living in tourist areas. The same applies to USA if you are rich and living in areas that cater to rich, it is super safe. There are plenty of places in Thailand that you can get your head knocked off.

Thailand is much safer than the US IMO and it's not even close. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.
