Guys thanks for all your great help. I will go to Phuket in November via BKK and I'm starting to book hotels. Now I am undecided on whether spending a couple days in BKK or Pattaya. I am not going to visit temples, I am mostly interested in mongering. I have seen that in BKK there are some large bars or massage places with many girls like Poseidon or Thermae while Pattaya is more gogo bars. I am not the guy who can sit for 2 hrs in a bar talking broken English with a girl just to bed her later (paying). I'd rather prefer go straight to the business. On the other hand during the day I'd prefer to stay on the beach rather than in a hot overcrowded city. So can you knowledgeable people give me a suggestion? Thanks a lot.

In Pattaya you can find countless massage places, beer bars and Gentlemens Clubs where you can quickly get down to business.

Now while Pattaya has a decent beach to sun bathe / relax, the water is not really clean enough to do any swimming IMO.

Hey brother I live in Pattaya not there now as I'm on vacation but I can help you out. It seems from what you wrote that you would like Pattaya more. I mean you said you want to be on a beach that's in Pattaya also don't want to talk just straight to sex go to soi 6 or a massage shop on soi Honey.

I think you answered your question within your question. Pretty obvious where you should go.

November is some six months away, seems way too early to book. I only book the first few days of my trip ahead of time and wing it from there once I've stayed at a hotel (s) to see how I like it, and even that booking is just a month perhaps in advance.

One of them want 500 for 30 minutes and the other one wants 600 for 30 minutes. That should tell you something about overpricing.

I regularly see young attractive girls selling 60 minutes for 1300-1600 baht. The kind of girls you would see in gogos.

Are these gogo quality girls at 1,300-1,600 baht you speak of in Pattaya or the outskirts somewhere?

It's very disheartening to see the current trend in bars in Pattaya.......

I read ISG posts relating to all the countries in which I have partaken and in not one of them is the situation not getting worse. All I can say is I am happy I partook where and when I did. Enjoy the now guys for who knows what the future holds?

It's very disheartening to see the current trend in bars in Pattaya. I was last in town in April and have a return booked in August. I also keep up on the city vibe by watching the daily video blogs on YouTube. It's sad to see a street like Soi 6 flooded with girls and nearly any customers. Not only that, but only a few of those girls are worth attention. I don't know how those bars make a profit if the girls are under contract. Don't even get me started on the go-go bar situation! There's no way in hell that I'm going to pay a 1500 baht bar fine, in addition to buying the girl a minimum of 5 or 6 girl drinks (as reported by a blogger), then another 3000 to 5000 for ST. That is just insane! The fact that the girls are being paid suck a lucrative contract gives no inventive for the girl to be barfined at all! Grant it, there still a few places where you can fine a seemingly fair 300 baht barfine and 1200ST, but those places are going by the wayside as more and more "gentleman's clubs and go-go bars keep popping up. Take LK Metro for example, two more go-gos have gone up in recent months (Las Vegas and LK Angels). All that aside, it is encouraging to hear that Soi MIT (the old one) is proposing 66 new beer bars, though I don't know where they'll find the girls to fill them. Personally, I'the like to see the city crack down on the go-gos with stiff taxes. I'm a beer bar kinda guy, always will be. Hope things are a bit improved by my next visit in August.

I can explain the contract situation.

Say pacha has 50 girls last night. If every girl met the minimum to get the full 1,000 salary the bar would be on the Hook for $1,500. End of night bar only pays out $300. As most girls cannot meet minimum s.

The Bars are fine it's the Girls who aren't making money meThinks.

When I say fine the Bars are Surviving.

Like I keep saying no legit business man is going to pay an ugly girl 1,000 if she doesn't bring in any income.

My last night a few days ago at XS. I'd say there were quite a few Uglies, and a lot of almost Uglies. No offense.

Business is a funny thing sometimes and can be affected by fads. It will take awhile for Pattaya to adjust to a new reality. GoGo bars seem to be the current fad and like all fads will eventually fade. I think the main problem for the future is the one you mentioned and that is girls. Demographics in Thailand has changed and not as many girls are available as in the past. I don't see Thailand opening it's borders to girls from other countries to legally work in the sex business, but police may look the other way for girls coming to Thailand illegally. Another problem is the supply of mongers and retirees will dwindle as us baby boomers die off.

New Govt new atmosphere. I don't think Thai girls all of a sudden saw the light and said I'd rather work in a factory rather than an A-go-go. What happened is no foreigner girls were allowed in. Not an insignificant number.

Between TF, GCs and the other cheap ST options one need not worry about prices. I wouldn't give my money to these overpriced bars and bar fines. In fact I've never bar fined unless one considers the 300-500 baht room fee to be a bar fine. Just stay away from WS and LK metro and let the Koreans, Japanese and Indians waste their hard earned money at those overpriced venues.

A cute girl, not much experienced, over 160 cm and slim, all natural body and willing to please is fine by me.

So basically a reasonably good looking soi6 girl, who arrived in Pattaya a few weeks ago, with zero English and who doesn't ask more than 1 K baht would fit that category.

Bkk doesn't have much better looking working girls than Patts in my opinion, it's just the civilians that are better looking, but who cares about them?

I agree about the optimal girl for ST. Seems like they all say they just started working in Pattaya LOL, not sure how to vet which ones are speaking truth.

Yes I was referring to civvies in regards to my comment about good better looking women in BKK. I may trade the non-TF dating apps next time I am in BKK to try and nab some civvies trying to make money on the side. Not sure I'll have the stomach for the work it requires when ST is so easy in Pattaya with many options. We'll see.

Not hating but beware of good price points. Usually older with sag all over, skin texture long gone, plus size- you know the Drill.

LOL yeah, you have to be very selective the cheaper you go, but expensive doesn't mean a better experience most times. There's a sweet spot one must find.

Last time I was there I found a nice and thick (not fat) one with an average face for 1,000 baht for ST. Always great service and she spoke great English so you could actually have a decent conversation. She was always very hygenic as well which seems to be less and less of a thing everytime I go to Thailand.
